  1. We had a revival of Spitting Image a few years ago but it didn't really work. I thought the material was weak and it's difficult to poke fun at politicians these days... Does anyone remember watching Supernanny? Now I'm older, I do question how many of the kids featured in that show were undiagnosed autistic/ADHD etc.
  2. Charted at #6 on the sales chart last week.
  3. Yeah, I did like the talking head "look back" shows they would do for More Talent every year before the series starts because they had old contestants on.
  4. To celebrate 15 years (!) since Susan Boyle's audition was aired on TV, the BGT YouTube channel has released some previously unseen footage featuring her from the show:
  5. Yeah, I'd prefer BGMT too but I think this is a better attempt at an ITVX spin-off thing than the BGT Unseen thing they did a few years ago. I'm a massive fan of the show and I wasn't interested. It needed more around it.
  6. As ever, looking forward to it. Hopefully Bruno has settled in!

She went on TikTok to explain why. She said that she was edited badly and that LS told her that she had to make all the decisions as PM (not shown), although neither explain what actually resulted. Re: not going on You're Fired, she claimed it was in solidarity with Asif (who was cut from it earlier in the series).
  8. I wish they'd just call an election already. Save us the torture.

The concerts in the Americas have begun. From the clips I've seen, not much change to any set-list but they've changed the arrangement of Flying Without Wings so they're not getting the audience to do Mark's bit anymore.
  10. I don't know what you do exactly, but my observation is that it's too overcomplicated. They can surely strip it back.

To be honest, I think that's the case with all artists. More money in touring than record sales these days.

Mark won't be on the US tour. I didn't realise that he had it so bad. https://www.instagram.com/p/C35iR79oueN

Amended! I was a bit slow on that one.

Thanks for the additional sales. :) It's correct - just checked and it was certified as 3x Platinum in January. Back for Good is still 2x Platinum (as of December 2020). Just double checked - I don't know where I got 1.4m from but it turns out it was actually 400k.
  15. Danny's version of the Celine Dion song charted at no. 3 on the sales chart.

Cheers. Yes, it is annoying when, in quite a few cases, it's hard to discern the top album because more than one of them have the same certification.

  18. Imagine. :D It's two chairs, one button. A few other versions of the show have done that for a while.
  19. I don't think anyone was expecting James Arthur to get another #1 single in 2016, nearly 4 years after his last (the X Factor winners single). Never mind achieving a #1 album this year, over 7 years after his last.
  20. It'll be great to see Danny Jones make the top 100 but I think it's sadly unlikely.

The thing I don't get with JK is why the whole thing is such an obsession for her. It seems like the only thing she ever talks about.
  22. It did, although I feel touring is considered their priority now. It seems most albums don't last very long on the charts these days.
  23. Smart. It coincides with Danny Jones inevitably being unmasked as Piranha on The Masked Singer tonight. :D
  24. I've said for a while that the current government act like a bunch of school children but I think even children would know better than to say what Sunak said. I know how these things go though, they won't lose any support and it'll have been forgotten by whenever there is an election.
