Top of the Pops: Review of 2023
The 2021 show got 1.5 million on the day (as an overnight). Not much worse than the previous years. Oh and Sounds Like Friday Night was last on in 2018.

Top of the Pops: Review of 2023
It's a slight shame that they didn't put on a studio show last year after two years of not being able to have an audience, but I think they just felt it wasn't worth it. The brand is still alive though so surely could be worse.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! • Series 23
There's next to no nuance on social media sadly, and if you even try and show it you'll get piled on too.

I shouldn't give them attention but yes, that is very weird.

I hope they can clear it up, because I think it was completely unfair to take it out on Fred like she did.

I think it has always been the case that you just don't win any more. You only don't win any stars if you don't get them in your bag or decide not to do the trial at all.

Jill Scott won last year and she's a gay footballer; the racist Facebook mums would have an issue with that too. Or the fact Danny Miller played a gay man in Emmerdale. I highly doubt Farage is actually going to win, but the problem is there's a lot of people who think it's a vote to evict, not save.

Ella Henderson + Cian Ducrot - Rest Of Our Days
No appearances in the charts yet, I wonder if they've got any performances lined up.

People wanted to do the same to Hancock last year but it just gave him more airtime and probably played a big part in him making the final.

The Tory fibs and fabrishications thread, Mk III
It's like Braverman is trying to see just how far she can push it before getting sacked, which she can then use to say that she's been forced out by leftie Tories or something.

Elon Musk's descent into insanity
Why am I not surprised. Proof if ever needed that he wants fascism to be the norm.

The Tory fibs and fabrishications thread, Mk III
How does one even decide who is 'genuinely homeless'? The average passer-by isn't even thinking of that, probably. They won't stop at their obsession with a culture war.

JLS - Everybody Say JLS: The Hits Tour
If we're being nitpicky, the playback track they use for The Club is Alive is the same as the one they used in 2021. The dance routine they have means they're (understandably) not singing it live.

JLS - Everybody Say JLS: The Hits Tour
I'm glad they kept a lot of the same stuff. I liked the fact they put the key change into 'Proud' (which the single should have had originally) and the slight changes to the arrangement of 'Love You More'.

JLS - Everybody Say JLS: The Hits Tour
They've definitely put on a great show and even though I didn't see them live when they were in their prime, they don't seem to have lost what they had then. Much as it'd be cool to see them get a number one single again or something I know it's probably unlikely.

That's the point I'm making. It's blatantly clear what he's like but people will still think he's been hard done by.

The Tory fibs and fabrishications thread, Mk III
There will still be people saying that he's a wonderful man who has never lied ever.

JLS - Everybody Say JLS: The Hits Tour
They've also got families too so I don't expect a tour every year anyway. Their 2024 dates are fewer than what they've got going on currently.
-
JLS - Everybody Say JLS: The Hits Tour
They haven't toured that frequently, this is their first tour since 2021 and I'm pretty sure they didn't perform at all in 2022 or this year prior to the tour.

Westlife played Wembley Stadium last year, I wonder what are the chances of them putting on a big gig like that. Not that they've ever really done the big stadiums anyway, and they're probably a bit further along in their career to do that (although you'd probably think the same about Westlife, even considering the relative scale of both bands).

You'd think the actions to prevent striking would be pretty obvious...

JLS - Everybody Say JLS: The Hits Tour
I'm seeing them tonight! It's only the second concert I've ever been to and the other one was also a boyband. :D EDIT: I enjoyed it! I don't blame them for not singing much from 2.0 as there wasn't much in the way of highlights for me. The audience loved Eternal Love though.

Good call. It's good to see them expanding.

Ella Henderson + Cian Ducrot - Rest Of Our Days
I don't really get the Fairytale of New York comparisons. Yes there's an Irish sound and it's a male/female duet but that was also built around it being an argument between the two 'protagonists'. Indeed, a closer example is Gary Barlow & Sheridan Smith's How Christmas is Supposed to Be. Back to this, I like it. I hope it does well.
