They're about 3,000 ahead at present. I don't know if they will be able to hold on but I hope they do.

He was massive in 2022 which must have given his entire back catalogue a lift. His solo career started nearly 9 years ago, though I'd say things really took off for him in terms of numbers at the beginning of this decade.

That's two people that have gotten a bit overconfident and blown up their own game - while also both going for Rachel. I think she's going to get banished before long though.

Yeah, I think Fiona just let the power get to her head a little bit, but who's to say whoever was the Secret Traitor wouldn't have done that anyway? I wasn't even sure what she was claiming - was she suggesting that Rachel was lying about what Amanda said or about the fact Amanda spoke to her? It was such a bizarre piece of television and yet a great watch.

It does feel like something that is more of a recent thing, especially with big anniversary releases.

I personally don't have an issue with any act who wants to push several variants or whatever. I don't know of the wider impact but there's always a slim chance that they might be picking up sales from people who may have not otherwise considered it. Not many, perhaps, but it all adds up.

I feel like their 2022 campaign was a bit muted. I guess with Five back and Boyzone, Take That and Westlife all putting on some big shows this year, there's a bit of a positive atmosphere around the boybands of that era.

I haven't listened to the album yet but I am pleasantly surprised at them being at #1 in the midweeks, especially considering the last album only got to #22. Whether it sustains that position is another matter, but I doubt it'll fall as far as that. Would long-time Blue fans say it's one of their better records?

Asanda only got one question right in her round (Moguls) and that's only because she was on Britain's Got Talent and therefore performed in front of Simon Cowell. 😄 She was also in the running to represent the UK at Eurovision in 2018.

I'm getting into this. Took a little while to wrap my head around the format. Gather it's one that becomes particularly interesting when it gets to the tail end.

My guess for Yak is Reece Shearsmith. No reason other than I can imagine him putting on a voice like that.

I kind of hear Tom Daley for Conkers.

It's even trickier if we assume the singer is disguising their voice. As to whether someone is a professional singer or not, I find you can tell from how their rhythm is. I don't always get it right; I thought Phoenix was David Tennant! But I think Yak has to be a comic. Arctic Fox is trickier. He's very good but I don't think he is someone known for singing.

I've not used Twitter in nearly 3 years but I think with the state it is presently in, it would not be missed. We're all past mourning what it used to be anyway.

Stephen has some heat off him - for now - but there's nothing stopping them deciding to throw him under the bus.

I don't know why she's been going for Jade. Whatever reason there is hasn't really been shown in the edit. It feels a bit personal on her end.

I agree with you. I think whenever it's brought up, people think it's a direct accusation that the participants are racist. I think it just shines a light on unconscious biases. We didn't see anything that suggested Kas last year would have been one to suspect. Some feel it showed up with Tameka on the celebrity series too.

I think if I was with someone else I'd be a bit more willing to. Even then he had his earphones in so I wouldn't have wanted to bother him.

He's done the show already. Interestingly the panel have been way off with the reveals so far. Usually the first few out tend to be professional singers you can easily tell who they are - see Dionne Warwick and Macy Gray.
