  1. That's what i wondering too, Parachutes is still doing great on streaming and vinyl keep selling. A Rush of Blood to The Head is also. But A Rush of Blood to The Head has charted in July 2016 (9 Years Ago). OCC now need to change this stupid Album Chart rules (top 2 tracks neutralised)

Many people disappointed with their last albums especially since “Mylo Xyloto (2011)” Ok I respect that, but few undeniable song that they made since then. 1. Midnight (2014) /Ghost Stories/ - this song is masterpiece, no one could ever imagine Coldplay written this song. Sampled and Produced bh Jon Hopkins 2. Another’s Arms - Coldplay’s guitarist Jonny Buckland did excellent job on there 3. Adventure of Lifetime - One of the Best Coldplay song ever made. Even it’s too pop. 4. Arabesque - i think this song is No.1 song for me (Last 10 years) 5. Coloratura - 10 minute song. Longest Coldplay track ever. Reminds me Pink Floyd
  3. 3 people voted for “they will miss top 100”, opening week sales around 0-5k. What a joke. Yes, they’re haters, but please

Parachutes - 72k A Rush of Blood to The Head - 273k X&Y - 464k (3rd biggest debut of UK Album Chart History back then) Viva la Vida - 302k Mylo Xyloto - 208k Ghost Stories - 168k A Head Full of Dreams - 235k (Number 1 spot blocked by "Adele - 25", but after AHFOD managed to #1) Everyday Life - 80k Music of the Spheres - 101k Some people forgot Coldplay is one of biggest album artist of UK history. Even their prime era has passed, they're able to sell over 100k.
  6. It's because of their US label 'Atlantic Records' doing bad promo since their 2014 album Ghost Stories. A Head Full of Dreams (2015) could have been top in US #1. But "Adele - 25" blocked them. Everyday Life (2019) is their least promoted album. Even Coldplay fans didn't know Coldplay has released new album. Music of the Spheres (2021) another mistake by Atlantic Records.
  7. I'm hoping they can get 100k
  8. Coldplay for Best British Group Adele for Best British Female Solo Artist & British Album of the Year Ed Sheeran for Best British Male Artist

Many people shocked to Coldplay's 2 days sales (81K). Let me explain few things to you guys 1. Coldplay have many fans. 2. Album announced 3 months ago. So they'll collect many pre-sales. 3. 1 important thing is Coldplay offering their upcoming 2022 UK tour dates pre-sales codes to who pre-ordered and bought on 1st week through Coldplay's UK shop. That's why they're going high. 4. Current sales already outsold Everyday Life's first week sales. Because Everyday Life doesn't have hit singles like My Universe and Higher Power. And they announced Everyday Life just 20 days ago before release date. They didn't toured to support Everyday Life and did less promotions. 5. Coldplay is now going around 150K sales in 1st week. But still not enough for Coldplay (Biggest band of 21st century). You can't deny. Viva la Vida is sold 302k Just in 3days, MX has sold 208K, Ghost Stories has sold 168K, AHFOD has sold 235K in 1st week. But we're living in 2021. It's streaming era, casual listeners won't buy music albums today. So it means Coldplay still have many loyalty fans. Most people saying "Coldplay is now done, overrated, crap band, boring songs, they finished after first 2 albums bla bla", but haters still going Coldplay tour, isn't? :D Thank you.

No we don't love at all, BRIT performance was supposed to boost "Higher Power" :(

Please don't compare Coldplay to Maroon 5. 2010s Coldplay far better than 2010s Maroon 5. I'm happy for them holding 3rd position. BRIT performance is coming. And Official Music video hasn't come out yet. Current video isn't official video (they confirmed)
  13. I wondered why so many people who doesn't like Viva la Vida, Speed of Sound, Paradise.
  14. and placed at #28 of Rolling Stone's "50 Best Albums of 2019" on Metacritic, received 73 score (Coldplay's 2nd best, only behind to A Rush of Blood to The Head)
  15. "Everyday Life" is named one of the best albums of 2019 by NME.
