Discuss the Robbie/Take That song you are listening to
@rocketbabyzoom This gathering reminds me of a Robbie Williams song, “Me and My Monkey.” Best incorporation of a mariachi band in a pop song. And the craziest song about addiction ever written. Never go on a road trip to Vegas when the monkey on your back left his wallet in El Segundo. BJ driving me crazy these days, links not working for X

Robbie Williams - BRITPOP Tour
Post thanks to Robbie Williams - The Unforgettable Concert Video in link here Facebook Could Pretty Face be next? 💃" At last night's show in Florence, Robbie added Spies alongside Rocket, meaning that two songs from Britpop are now part of the setlist. It's still not quite what many fans were hoping for from a tour carrying the album's name, but it's definitely a step in the right direction. Now things get interesting. There's evidence that before the Firenze Rocks show, Robbie and the band soundchecked Pretty Face. Why is that exciting? Because that's exactly how Spies started last year. It was first rehearsed during soundchecks before making its live debut at Berlin's Waldbühne. Could history be about to repeat itself? 🎶" What do you think? Was Pretty Face just a soundcheck... or a hint of what's to come? 👀" And, if Robbie adds one more Britpop song to the setlist, which one should it Credit: .@lisamaria_travels . Robbie Williams enchants 20 thousand fans at Firenze Rocks with pop and irony shows Robbie Williams - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia © Creative Commons A Visarno Arena packed with over twenty thousand spectators welcomed last night the return to Italy of Robbie Williams, the absolute protagonist of the second day of Firenze Rocks. After the explosive opening of the festival entrusted to Lenny Kravitz, the Florentine Saturday was transformed into a gigantic pop party led by one of the most charismatic and unpredictable entertainers of the last thirty years. The British artist confirmed his deep bond with the Italian public, offering a show full of energy and unforgettable moments. A mix of energy, irony and great successesPunctual at 9:30 pm, between spectacular lights and the enthusiasm of an audience across age and background, the British superstar ex Take That kicked off a show built with the usual mix of energy, irony, self-irony and direct involvement of the audience. A concert that confirmed how Williams continues to possess an almost unique ability to transform every performance into an ongoing dialogue with his fans. The set kicked off with iconic tracks, followed by an impromptu medley that included generational hits such as Blur's "Song 2," the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army," and Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer," sparking a gigantic chorus among those in attendance. The concert continued with a roundup of hits that have marked his career: "Rock DJ", "Love My Life", the recent single "Pretty Face", "Better Man", "Sexed Up", "Candy"; then "Millennium", "Come Undone", "Kids", "She's the One"; finally the final triptych with "My Way", "Feel" and "Angels", with thousands of people who sang every word of the symbolic song of Williams' career, closing the evening under the summer sky of Florence. The openings and the continuation of the festivalOpening the evening, before the highly anticipated Robbie Williams show, were the emerging Florentines Ejent, followed by the London-based Mystery Jets and the talented singer-songwriter KT Tunstall. The Firenze Rocks festival, which confirms itself as an event of international appeal, will continue in the coming days with the presence of other big names in music, including the supergroup The Cure. The vibrant atmosphere of the Visarno Arena has once again demonstrated the event's ability to attract a vast and passionate audience, offering a musical experience that knows how to skillfully balance the presence of established artists with the discovery of new and promising proposals on the music scene. Robbie Williams' performance at Firenze Rocks undoubtedly represented one of the culminating and most anticipated moments of the entire event. His performance reaffirmed his status as a complete entertainer, capable of establishing an authentic and deep dialogue with the audience, constantly renewing his repertoire while maintaining his unmistakable pop roots. An event that left a mark, confirming the magic of pop and the contagious energy of a timeless artist. Robbie Williams enchants 20 thousand fans at Firenze Rocks with pop and irony shows

Robbie Williams - BRITPOP Tour
The day that Robbie Williams set Florence on fire and the night of The Cure between melancholy and rock It was two days of music that has just passed at the Visarno Arena in Florence capable of telling, rather than two simple concerts, two different conceptions of live performance. On the one hand, Robbie Williams, who on Saturday 13 June transformed the stage of Firenze Rocks into a pop variety show where irony and provocation merge with a devastating scenic charge; on the other hand, The Cure, on Sunday 14 June, offered a lesson in sonic melancholy, enveloping the tens of thousands of people present in an almost cathartic atmosphere, made up of reverberated guitars and that dark romanticism that Robert Smith has been cultivating for over forty years Robbie Williams, the irresistible return of the human "talent show"The second day of the festival, the one dedicated to the former Take That, had a special flavor: not only for the return of the artist almost thirty years after the first Florentine concert (the one in 1997 at the Teatro Tenda, as has been recalled several times), but also for the awareness of witnessing a perfect entertainment machine Williams, who recently released the album "Britpop," didn't just sing along to his hits — though "Rock DJ," "Feel" and "Angels" were greeted by stadium chants — but played the part of the absolute star performer, even wearing a hot pink faux fur coat to perform. His setlist, fluid and unpredictable, ranged from dance catchphrases to more intimate moments, demonstrating how the artist knows how to manage the rhythm of an evening with the precision of an orchestra conductor, alternating the cover of "My Way" with songs like "Better Man" without ever losing the thread of dialogue with the audience. The wait for The Cure: a setlist of new songs and timeless classicsIf Saturday had been a riot of pop energy, on Sunday the mood changed radically, just as expected from a band that has made the contrast between apparent lightness and lyrical depth its flag. The Cure, the only Italian date of their tour, took the stage around 21:30, giving a setlist that satisfied the fans of the first hour without neglecting the latest recording efforts. And it was precisely the presence of songs such as "Alone", taken from the acclaimed "Songs of a Lost World", that anchored the evening to a very lively artistic present, albeit filtered through the lens of their gothic imagery. The incursion into the darkest atmospheres of "Shake Dog Shake" coexisted perfectly with the joyful explosion – if we can speak of joy in this context – of "Just Like Heaven", creating a continuous emotional flow that gave no respite Details of the news and organization: what worked at the Visarno ArenaFrom a logistical point of view, the organizational machine of Firenze Rocks has withstood the impact of the huge influx, although there is no shortage – as always in these cases – of minor inconveniences related to the queues for water supplies. The police guarded the area without any particular criticality, limiting themselves to managing vehicular traffic at night; no episode of criminal relevance was recorded inside the arena, demonstrating how a predominantly adult audience (that of the Cure) and a more heterogeneous one (that of Robbie) were able to coexist with the spaces of the event The closing of the three-day event therefore reiterated, if it were needed, that Florence remains a fundamental square for major live events, capable of attracting spectators from all over Europe while maintaining an acceptable safety rate despite the full capacity The analysis of the two performances: pop theater vs. rock introspectionComparing the two headline performances is almost mandatory, given their proximity in time, yet opposite in substance. Williams has staked everything on spectacularization: his songs, often rearranged in a symphonic or dance key, served to create a single large collective party, where the individual is lost in the mass that sings "Let Me Entertain You" at the top of their lungs. The Cure, on the other hand, worked by subtraction: bare lights, fixed shots on the musicians, no gratuitous virtuosity. Their strength was the patience to build long tensions, as in the hypnotic ten minutes of "From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea", and then dissolve them in an immediate refrain. If the first closed with a firework, the second left the audience with the feeling of having witnessed a ritual, especially during the double closing with the encores loaded with "Prayers for Rain" and the definitive "Boys Don't Cry Source The day that Robbie Williams set Florence on fire and the night of The Cure between melancholy and rock

Robbie Williams named Port Vale shirt sponsor Richard PriceWest Midlands Robbie Williams' RW mark will appear on Port Vale home and away shirts for the next two seasons Robbie Williams has been announced as a charity ambassador and shirt sponsor for Port Vale Football Club. The two-year deal will see Williams using his profile to promote the club's charitable work and his RW mark will feature on the front of players' home and away shirts. "It feels pretty incredible, to be honest," Williams said. "Robbie Williams, on the front of a Port Vale shirt - it's a match made in heaven for me." The pop star was raised a short distance away from the club's home at Vale Park, and he has supported them since childhood. "I started going to the Vale when it was 50p for a junior supporter to get in. It takes a village to raise a child, and the Railway Paddock at Vale Park raised me," Williams said. In 2022, he performed a unique homecoming gig at the ground in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. Williams was made club president in January 2024, referring to himself as "El Presidente". The Port Vale Foundation, for which he has now become an ambassador, delivers projects supporting health, education, inclusion and opportunity for people of all ages across the city of Stoke-on-Trent. Williams said his return to being involved with the club was a result of the work done by chair and co-owner Carol Shanahan and her team, with Williams praising the backroom operation they had established. "Being embraced again by the Port Vale family has been very important to me and it feels wonderful," he said. Williams described the partnership as a "match made in heaven" Port Vale chief executive officer Matt Hancock said the partnership meant "a huge amount" to the club. "He is not only a global superstar, but also a genuine supporter of the club with a deep and personal connection to our town," Hancock said. "It's that authenticity which makes this so powerful. From the very first conversations, it was clear this was about Robbie's life-long love for Port Vale and making a tangible difference to people's lives. "The support and exposure the partnership will give to the club and foundation will help us reach more people, create more opportunities and continue using the club as a force for good." Robbie Williams - BRITPOP Tour
More thoughts on the BRITPOP setlist , this time from RWFanfest It’s a year to the day since we shared the news that we were incredibly fortunate to be invited to the Britpop secret album listening party in Manchester. A year during which that album then was finalised and released and went to number one securing Robbie Williams his record breaking 16th UK number one album. 🙌🏻" referrerpolicy="origin-when-cross-origin" src="https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/tb8/1/16/1f64c_1f3fb.png" style="border: 0px; border-start-start-radius: 0px; border-end-end-radius: 0px; border-start-end-radius: 0px; border-end-start-radius: 0px; object-fit: fill;">🙌🏻" referrerpolicy="origin-when-cross-origin" src="https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/tb8/1/16/1f64c_1f3fb.png" style="border: 0px; border-start-start-radius: 0px; border-end-end-radius: 0px; border-start-end-radius: 0px; border-end-start-radius: 0px; object-fit: fill;"> The year a number of singles came off the album including “Spies”, “Pretty Face” and “All my life.” And now the Britpop tour has resumed for the summer festival season and rest of the world tour dates and we’re seeing a lot of discussion in the various RW groups about the fact the tour is CALLED Britpop but doesn’t feature very much of the album AT ALL. There is a real disconnect with the theme of the tour and a disappointment for the fans who want to hear MORE of this incredible studio album live. The Long 90’s shows in intimate venues clearly played a big part in bringing these tracks to the hardcore fans but they were small shows, tickets were impossibly hard to get your hands on, they were UK only and so many people did not get to go. There are some incredible tracks on this album that would make for amazing Stadium moments. “All my life” and “Pretty Face” in particular would sound incredible in a stadium and even songs like “it’s all fun until the drugs stop working” would go off in a stadium if the words were up on the big screen… We’re personally a bit sad that we may never get to hear “Green eyed mental boy” live. It’s a banger. Obviously, the tour was fully designed and the staging and lighting and run times were set and the tour was already underway before the album release date was moved and then moved again. Obviously, the tour was already underway when the album came out and the 2026 tour is a continuation of a tour that started at the end of 2025. Kim Gavin who was instrumental in the design of this tour is also now on tour with Take That. So we don’t know what the practicalities or limitations may be of chopping and changing and moving songs in and out of the setlist… However, we can’t help but feel that they’ve missed a trick in not having MORE of the Britpop album tracks in these current live shows. We accept that Rob feels very strongly that as an audience member he doesn’t want the mood or the tempo to drop and the wider audience beyond the first 10 rows in the pit of a stadium has come “to hear the hits.” But naming the tour Britpop if all they’re going to play play is Rocket 🚀" referrerpolicy="origin-when-cross-origin" src="https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/tc6/1/16/1f680.png" style="border: 0px; border-start-start-radius: 0px; border-end-end-radius: 0px; border-start-end-radius: 0px; border-end-start-radius: 0px; object-fit: fill;"> feels like a massive missed opportunity to us… If these songs were good enough to get the number one, they’re good enough to go on tour. Thoughts? Team RWFanfest ❤️" referrerpolicy="origin-when-cross-origin" src="https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/t6c/1/16/2764.png" style="border: 0px; border-start-start-radius: 0px; border-end-end-radius: 0px; border-start-end-radius: 0px; border-end-start-radius: 0px; object-fit: fill;"> #britpop #robbielive #robbiewilliams Source https://www.facebook.com/RWfanfest?__cft__[0]=AZZAWTbYHsE1Mcjwhx5SAuI94wnpLFiGalVyCrhH1FMUKGv90wY4eV64DJioDHdkfTLQUXMZU9GsEr32epNSzA1e-yo9a6PUT-T-GBQPK_RZYpWzMa4yEy1BtfKYSzGwGetkldHtGPdGetKCqxMb8ItI&__tn__=-UC%2CP-R

Take That - The Circus Live 2026
Review: 'What I thought of Take That's concert at Sunderland's Stadium of Light'Story by Victoria Williams The last time I saw Take That perform live I was a tween girl - and they were scantily clad, oily skinned heartthrobs belting out fresh hits such as Could it be Magic and Never Forget. Take That singer Gary Barlow entertains the audience at Sunderland's Stadium of Light. Picture by Frank Reid. More than 30 years later, I am a 43-year-old mother, while the band are middle aged by anyone's standards - indeed, Howard Donald and Mark Owen are proud grandfathers. With the glasses I now need, but didn't back then, I can see the trio hold themselves differently. Their hair has greyed, and their faces, while still handsome, have developed a rugged maturity. But they burst into life with a stirring and energetic rendition of Greatest Day and it's obvious that three decades on they haven't lost any of their charm. The thing that stands out the most is the pure joy they clearly feel at performing to a colossal audience of 60,000 fans at Sunderland's Stadium of Light. Victoria Williams, right, with friend Elaine Tollitt at a Take That concert in the 1990s.© (Photo: North News / NNP) They are barely able to contain their excitement as they belt out hits such as Could It Be Magic, Pray, A Million Love Songs and Back For Good while accompanied by a highly talented cast of circus performers, including a trampolinist, acrobats and a tightrope walker. Victoria Williams attends the Take That concert at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on Tuesday.© (Photo: North News / NNP) The band are a second man down since I last saw them in 1995. Jason Orange quit in September 2014, almost a decade after Robbie Williams walked out amid a falling out with Gary Barlow. It came at a bad time for me, happening in July 1995, just weeks before I saw Take That live at the Manchester NYNEX Arena. I was gutted. But the band have never lost their ability to play to sell-out crowds at mega venues despite their reduction by two fifths. Last night the group returned to the Stadium of Light for the first time since they performed in 2011. This year's show - The Circus Live - Summer 2026 - is a revival of their original 2009 9show, but with one crucial difference. ack then Take That, who spilt in 1996 before regrouping 10 years later, still had something to prove and were in the middle of negotiating an ambitious comeback with songs which have now become anthems. Today they are basking in their longevity and the endurance of hits such as Greatest Day and Rule the World, which have established themselves as some of the best loved classics of a generation. The fans, many of whom are women in their 40s, have aged alongside their idols, but it is an eclectic crowd that packs into the Stadium of Light on an evening of heavy summer rainfall. It is mainly an older audience but one which takes in a wide range of ages from teenagers to those in their 70's. It is testament to the length and success of their career that the band have such diverse admirers - from men in their 60's sporting ponchos, to women in their 20's wearing tank tops. The Take That t-shirt I first donned in 1995 for the Nobody Else tour, which is soaking wet by the time I arrive, has grown older slightly more gracefully than I have - but it still fits, at least. I can't help but laugh out loud as Mark rides a unicycle along the runway followed by Gary on a tiny bike with stabilisers, to a medley of upbeat hits including It Only Takes a Minute Girl and Take That and Party. The scene reminds me that in the 90's they energetically breakdanced to these tunes, slamming their bare and muscular bodies onto the stage with all their mite. Today, dressed as clowns, the lads are still entertainers, but ones of a different kind. The band performing The Garden on top of a gigantic elephant as it sashays along the runway is a definite highlight of the show. Shout out to the dancer who hangs from the animal's rear, swinging from side to side in his role as its tail. Epic production stunts were a staple of the concert, as balls of flames were propelled into the air during a performance of Relight My Fire. The fireworks continued as the final song of the night - Rule the World - rang out. But the tune that will stay with me the most is Never Forget and its lyrics: "Someday soon this will all be someone else's dream." For it's clear to me that 36 years after they first burst onto the pop scene, Take That and their fans are still very much living the dream. Robbie Williams - BRITPOP Tour
I have read many comments about this discussion on different social media platforms & peoples point of view differ which of course they should . Some prefer the old favourites & others a mix of old & new. I personally would like to have seen a couple of the Britpop songs included in the setlist especially when touring in the Northern Hemisphere, people in this part of the world get the opportunity to see him every couple of years so maybe would appreciate something different every now & then. I was thinking maybe two songs from Britpop in the first half of the current show ( which he did in the second show in Deusseldorf ) _ & two in the second half , that would keep us all happy. . I posted a comment on one of Karl's videos on Instagram so I was hoping he might take heed , no harm in asking I can also fully understand that he will do all the old favourites when he tours in South America, he has not been there for 20 years so I am sure everyone there are so excited about seeing him. It will be brilliant for them.

Robbie Williams: PODCASTS, Publications and Interviews
Back in the country after 20 years, Robbie Williams wants to 'really live Brazil' for the first timeIn an interview with g1, the 52-year-old singer recalls coming to the country in 2006, analyzes the dopamine era and explains the joke on the new album, 'Britpop'.By Guilherme Lucio da Rocha, g1 Singer Robbie Williams — Photo: Jason Hetherington/Disclosure Robbie Williams will return to Brazil for a unique show in São Paulo on October 13, at Allianz Parque. And the singer will live the experience of being in the country "as if it were the first time". That's because the popstar came to Brazil for the first time two decades 20 years. More precisely for a concert at Praça da Apoteose, in Rio de Janeiro, on October 18, 2006. In an interview with g1, when remembering his view, he describes a passage without any remarkable moment. "I didn't experience anything other than the hotel and a plane trip," he summarizes. At that time, Robbie Williams was coming to Brazil with the "Close Encounters" tour, which mixed his main hits with some singles from his most recent work, "Intensive Care". One of the great stars of the music world, Williams was living in dark times in 2006. Psychological problems and a toxic relationship with alcohol and drugs were central themes in his life off stage. "It was a very strange time for me. I was the main character in a movie that everyone was watching. The main character, in this case, had mental health problems, fear, very high anxiety, and addiction problems," he explains. "Trying to understand what was happening to my life at that particular time was terrifying. It's fun. And also a little traumatic." In fact, most of these problems are present in the great biopic "Better Man" (2024), where the main character (yes, Robbie Williams) is played by a monkey. Source https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0IWxgMjsmw Now, at the age of 52, living a "family man" phase where music occupies a formal workspace, but with greater freedom, the singer returns to Brazil wanting to live the experience of getting to know our people better. A parochial artist, with a tattoo in honor of Stoke-On-Trent, a small town of about 250,000 inhabitants in the West of England, he says that being successful on another continent is "like being successful on Mars". And, when answering about what he is most curious about experiencing in Brazil, he escapes the clichés caipirinha, samba and soccer (a sport he is a fan of) with a somewhat cliché phrase. "Brazil is a mystical country for the rest of the planet, there is a special feeling for Brazilians, for its people, which is not common. You got a lot right in branding," he says. Robbie Williams, the troll Robbie Williams, the troll On January 16, 2026, taking the world by surprise, Robbie Williams released "Britpop". The name draws attention for its reference to the historical musical movement among the British in the 1990s, especially the bands Oasis and Blur. But really, Robbie Williams was just trolling a bunch of people with the name. "I chose this name because I'm British and because I make pop music," he told g1, frowning and being silent for about 10 seconds before continuing with the answer. "I also wanted to make a joke, because I wasn't part of the Britpop movement back in the 1990s. And at that time, no one wanted to be involved with this movement. So, I took the opportunity to make fun of people who believe that I can't be associated with something like Britpop today." The singer has a point. Back in the 1990s, he and his group, "Take That", were more like an electronic pop boyband. In "Britpop", Robbie Williams threw himself into the rock of his "colleagues", the Gallagher brothers, who last year joined hands and toured the world with Oasis. The album earned the singer a great record: he became the first artist to score 16 albums at the top of the UK charts. The previous record was held by the Beatles. And what does he feel when he hears that he has surpassed the Beatles? Williams says the new work gave him a musical opportunity to work with references he wished he had used back in the 1990s — but he couldn't take advantage of any of them with Take That. "I was in a boyband when I was 16 years old. Around me, the crowd was making music with guitar, the opposite of what happened to me. If I borrow something from that time, it's just the memory of what I liked musically." Speaking of the 1990s, the singer often repeats in interviews that that time was the last great period of cultural innovation, including in music. When talking about his view of the past decade, he begins the answer by mentioning the lack of attention of people today. "In the 90s, there was time to breathe. Something happened, we accepted it and then we lived with it. And nowadays, something happens and, a second later, something else happens. Now everything is based on dopamine from one second to the next. I don't know if that was your question, but that's my answer." The question was about that, but the answer has a "hidden" point. And that he decides not to address in the interview. Robbie and his wife, Ayda Field, are campaigners for UK government restrictions on children's use of social media. The "raise the age" campaign asks local authorities to cover platforms for a new age limit for access to networks - going to 16 years old. The couple has four children between the ages of 12 and six and, obviously, is directly affected by one of the main technological problems of the 21st century. Robbie Williams. Promo & Performances in 2026
Kravitz, Robbie Williams and The Cure: three aces for Firenze Rocksby Paolo Lazzari The festival from Friday to Sunday at Visarno. The cast also includes the very Italian Salmo and Anna Calvi, a restless muse of English indie Lenny Kravitz, Robbie Williams and The Cure day after day, forming a catalyzing hat-trick. Psalm that appears for the first time. From tomorrow to Sunday, the Visarno Arena hosts the eighth edition of Opel Firenze Rocks: three days populated by lineups that oscillate between the clang of the batteries and the softer seductions of the ballads, up to the alternative. A lineup of illustrious names, which certifies how much the festival has earned a stable place in the European Olympus of live music. This year, moreover, the attention to the sustainability of the event and the experience of the public is strengthened. Lenny Kravitz The programThe incipit is scheduled for tomorrow, with a couple who have much more in common than they may seem: charisma, tension towards spectacularity, an almost tribal relationship with the stage. Lenny Kravitz is one of those artists who seem to have been born in a special light: guitarist, singer, producer, gang-man capable of playing practically anything. From Are You going to Go My Way onwards he has built an unstoppable career, moving between rock, funk and soul. The latest work, Blue Electric Light, sanctioned a triumphant return. For him this is the first time on the stage of Firenze Rocks, as well as for Salmo, who will have the task of uncorking the evening with his band and a live that promises to be punk. The Sardinian rapper and producer has long been one of the most polarizing and creative figures on the Italian scene, capable of moving the boundaries of rap towards metal, industrial and club music sounds. Opening the evening will be, among others, the acclaimed singer-songwriter and sublime English guitarist Anna Calvi (fresh from an ep where she duets with Laurie Anderson, Iggy Pop, Perfume Genius) and The Sophs, a young project that knows how to move between rock, pop punk and funk. Robbie Williams On Saturday the scene will be all Robbie Williams. Labeling him as an intergenerational pop star is probably an understatement: since he broke with Take That, a geological era ago, he has always managed to keep himself in hype, oscillating between total successes, collapses and resurrections. From Angels to Feel, from Rock DJ to Supreme, he has recorded some of the most sung songs from the nineties onwards. For him too it is a baptism at Firenze Rocks. Warming up the stage will be KT Tunstall, a Scottish singer-songwriter capable of cementing pop energy and folk sensibilities, and the London-based Mystery Jets, an indie band with a recognizable and constantly evolving musical identity. Opening the day, with a touch of local pride, was Ejent, a Florentine pop rock band born in 2023. Robert Smith, The Cure Sunday is perhaps the most stratified and ambitious day of the entire edition. For months, ticket holders for The Cure have been anxious. Robert Smith and his companions, with that gothic-romantic aesthetic that has remained stubbornly intact through the decades, invented a way of being in the world even before making music. Disintegration, Pornography: albums that have marked generations with gusts of liberating melancholy. Their return with Songs of a Lost World, in 2024, has shown that creative urgency is not consumed. To complete the day the Scottish Mogwai - among the absolute founders of post-rock as an adult and conscious genre -, the compatriots The Twilight Sad with their indie rock tinged with post-punk, and the Irish Just Mustard, who are tracing a very original path in contemporary noise-rock. The organizer of Firenze Rocks: "Second stage and camping, so we will make a new leap"11 June 2026 The Village areaFirenze Rocks has never been just music, and the 2026 edition confirms this with particular conviction. On the sustainability front, the festival is launching a pilot project of scientific monitoring on the ecological impact of major events, applying to become the first Italian observatory on the subject. CO2 emissions, fine particles, waste management: all measured with satellite tools and AI algorithms. The activity will be handled by the partner Justonearth and the data collected in this way will allow strategic decisions for the future to be better oriented. As for the experience - with an audience from over 50 countries - the Village Area covers 6000 square meters with entirely cashless payment through the Orla Pay platform. Ticket holders will be able to access the civic museums at a reduced rate, while buses and tramways will guarantee additional rides to and from the Cascine. Source https://x.com/rep_firenze

Robbie Williams. Promo & Performances in 2026
José Carreras to play Gabba show with Robbie WilliamsBy Dan Condon José Carreras will play the Gabba's first concert in years, with help from Robbie WIlliams, Natalie Imbruglia and more. (Supplied) Spanish tenor José Carreras will mark his 80th birthday with a major all-star concert at The Gabba in Brisbane this December, organisers announced on Wednesday. In Carreras & Friends, the Spanish tenor will lead a line-up featuring Robbie Williams, The Corrs, Ronan Keating, Anne Wilson of Heart, Darren Hayes of Savage Garden, Natalie Imbruglia, Sheppard, as well as fellow opera singers Katherine Jenkins and Mark Vincent. The show will feature a mix of collaborations and individual performances, all backed by over 90 musicians from the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, culminating in an "all-star finale". José Carreras — from boy wonder to task master A trip to the cinema at the tender age of six inspired José Carreras to become a singer. Carreras & Friends will be the first concert held at the ground, which is usually used for cricket and AFL, since Taylor Swift and Charli xcx performed there in 2019 and Adele in 2017. Some of the artists have toured Australia recently: The Corrs were here in February 2025, while Robbie Williams will perform at the city's Lang Park two weeks before the Gabba show. But the government is still banking on the unconventional line-up to generate significant interest from those outside of Queensland. Andrew Powell, Queensland's minister for tourism, believes the concert will bring an estimated $11 million into the Queensland economy. "José Carreras is one of the world's most celebrated performers and this exclusive Queensland event will attract more visitors, support local businesses and showcase our state to audiences around the globe," he says. The concert is promoted by Echo Pacific Entertainment, the latest venture from promoter Andrew McManus, who serves as the company's chief executive. McManus's last large-scale event was Pandemonium Rocks, a travelling festival that faced significant criticism when many of the acts booked were removed from the line-up, and a privacy breach leaked the details of ticketholders seeking refunds. Following Pavarotti's footstepsThe concert bears some resemblance to Pavarotti & Friends, the series of charity concerts fronted by Carreras's Three Tenors partner Luciano Pavarotti in the 1990s and 2000s. While those line-ups featured the likes of Elton John, Queen, Mariah Carey, Eric Clapton and the Spice Girls, Brisbane's take on the concept will be a bit humbler. Mark Vincent, one of the Australian acts on the line-up, says the opportunity to see with Carreras has been a longstanding dream. "It's personal for me," he says. "My grandfather, may he rest in peace, said to me this day would come and I never believed him. "I used to sit at home watching the DVD of the Three Tenors, it was like religion. I studied the voices of José, Luciano [Pavarotti] and Placido Domingo and he said to me and my grandmother, 'One day you'll be up there with those incredible artists'. To think that one of those dreams has come true to perform with José Carreras, I'm honestly so grateful." The broad undercard is particularly appealing to Brisbane band Sheppard, one of the local acts asked to be a part of the concert. "It's a pinch-yourself moment where you get the call up to be amongst some of these legendary icons," vocalist and keyboardist Amy Sheppard says. "I think 10-year-old Amy would be pinching herself up there with The Corrs, and Darren Hayes of Savage Garden has really inspired our music, so it's a dream gig for us." Carreras will perform alongside most of the artists on the line-up, which could make for an interesting collaboration. "Let's see if we can get José singing Geronimo," frontman George Sheppard says. Carreras & Friends happens at the Gabba on Saturday, December 5. Source José Carreras to play Gabba show with Robbie Williams - ABC News

Robbie Williams: Social Media
One of the joys of getting older is that you care less about what people say about you , those who are important in your life know who you are .. You have made progress Robbie Either it was a man who feels threatened by my success and wanted, for one brief moment, to level a score in a game he thinks he’s losing. Or it was a perfectly decent bloke who later lay in bed thinking: “I can’t believe I called Robbie Williams shit.” Either way, thank you man in the park. You taught me I’ve made progress.
