  13. You too can own one of these for just $ 4,395.00 😎 Tune the World Out With the Introvert Chair by Robbie Williams11.24.25 | By Aria Lee Stress, overwhelm, and chaos are typical in our society, bolstered and even encouraged by the powers that be. If the pressures of the world get to be too much sometimes, and you’re the type of person that recharges from being alone, the Introvert Chair by pop icon Robbie Williams for Moooi was made specifically for you. Upholstered in a textured, creamy fabric, this low-slung armchair comes with an optional Security Blanket, with wise words to take heed: “the introvert will leave the chair when the introvert is ready and not before.” This project stems from capturing the quiet desire to embody stillness, without disappearing completely – a sentiment drawn directly from Williams’ own lived experience. Designed as a “gentle rebellion against overstimulation,” the Introvert Chair is part sculpture, part sanctuary. Its generously padded wooden frame and enveloping curves create a cocoon-like shape that hugs the body, helped along by an internal swivel mechanism that adds a subtle sense of ease and movement. The fabric – a blended composition of virgin wool, alpaca, and cotton – is crafted using an innovative 3D quilting technique that transforms the material into a sculptural surface. The raised texture gives nod to many facets of nature we interact with every day – like river rocks or clouds – introducing a comforting tactile response to ground us in the moment. Each cover is individually stitched, a testament to Moooi’s meticulous craftsmanship and detail. As more and more of our free time, or whatever you want to call it, is chipped away, what remains? And are we better for it? As Meg Lewis stated at Adobe MAX this year, “We’re all very complicated. The world wants to put us in boxes and categorize us, so it’s easier for boring adults to move on to their next boring problem. I’m full of contradictions of what the world doesn’t say goes together – I’ve learned to incorporate everything about who I am into my work.” This, couched within a presentation, is a call to action: let people be themselves, even if it’s a bit out of the norm. Even if it’s way out of the norm. More grace and understanding is sorely needed, an essential ingredient in the fabric of society. The Introvert Chair is a visual cue: if that Security Blanket comes out, someone is seriously in need of a slower, quieter reality, a place to process. While both cheeky and a warning to those in the know, the double-sided blanket is rendered in ivory and pink, the opposite colors showcased on the back. Optional matching Comfort Cushions allow for further nesting – a full emotional support system disguised as design. This marks Robbie Williams’ first foray into furniture, though he’s no stranger to creative reinvention. Since 2023 his expressive artworks have appeared across Moco Museum locations in Amsterdam, Barcelona, and London, culminating in his Radical Honesty exhibition, where the Introvert Chair originally premiered. His artistic universe leans heavily into vulnerability – a blend of anxiety, humor, ego, shame, and healing that mirrors the contradictions many of us carry. According to Williams, “The Introvert Chair is more than just a place to lounge, it’s a whole mood. In a world that rarely slows down, we often crave a place of respite, and this chair is just that. Its soft fabric and gentle curves create a sanctuary that offers complete comfort and calm, reminding me of the power that art and design have… not only in shaping our spaces, but in transforming how we feel within them.” Moooi founder Marcel Wanders echoes the sentiment: “Robbie’s creativity transcends mediums. With the Introvert Chair, he channels that vision into a design of remarkable clarity – sculptural, daring, and deeply personal. We are thrilled to partner with Robbie for his first design collaboration with a piece that fits seamlessly into Moooi’s world of whimsical ingenuity and innovation.” The Introvert Chair by Robbie Williams for Moooi just launched globally through Moooi stores and online for $4,395, with pillows and blanket sold separately. 14. Submitted by PhaedraW on 24 November 2025 - 09:43Iron Maiden and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds were previously announced as headliners of the Live Is Live concert series, and none other than Robbie Williams can now join them! On Saturday, June 27, 2026, Williams will perform an exclusive headline show at Middenvijver Park in Antwerp. Robbie Williams started his career as part of boy band Take That, until he continued solo and the great successes he already had with Take That became even greater. He hit with Angels, Millennium, Rock DJ, Feel and Candy, among others. With these classics to new songs from his upcoming album BRITPOP (to be released February 6, 2026), he once again shows that he is the king of singing along, swaying along and pure stage fun. In addition to Robbie Williams, there are more acts planned for June 27. Suzan & Freek and Bart Peeters & De Ideale Mannen can also join the line-up! More artists will be added to the line-up in the coming weeks. Ticket sales will start on Friday 28 November at 10:00: Buy tickets for Robbie Williams at Live Is Live 2026 here! 16. Another piece from Fil. I like the respect he always shows for his time with Rob I understand that you were raised in the time of Soviet censorship in Prague and then relocated with your family to London. How did that influence the music you were exposed to at an early age? Can you elaborate on your discovery and exploration of music during your formative years? I think, in a lot of ways, my parents kept me on a good musical path, as did my grandmother, who lived in London and was allowed to come and visit us. We weren’t allowed to travel out. My folks had a small record collection, mostly Beatles albums, some CSN, Pink Floyd, Elvis Costello, Deep Purple (odd record collection, right?), Bob Dylan — that kept me going for a little while. There was a good amount of jazz in there too. Some Miles, Roland Kirk, Oscar Peterson, and a lot of classical music. As far as the classical side, my grandma was the main gateway that introduced me to it. She was an amazing musician. My earliest musical memories are of playing around on the piano with her, probably around the ages of 3 to 6. What events led to you becoming an in-demand session player and touring artist? What was the primary impulse behind your transition into film scoring? What was your first big break? It’s hard to talk about “big breaks” without really looking at the whole picture because there really isn’t one “big break” that sort of just makes everything ok and suddenly, you’re a successful artist. It’s a constant process, but I can definitely point to events in my life where looking back, I can now go, “Oh, ok. That was important" or "That turned into something important for me.” Joining Robbie Williams’ band in the late 90's didn’t feel like an important thing at the time. I joined despite having a lot of skepticism about what kind of artist he was. I joined because I really liked him when we first met and we just got on. Very shortly after, I discovered how talented he really was. That became an important time in my life. I toured through most of my 20's.
