    There was something on FB about final tickets for the Oz tour so I looked on Ticketmaster for the dates and there was this:

    I doubt there will be unless he tries one...he did that with Sensational if I remember , slotted it into one of his shows during a tour :unsure:

    Then I considered - he always looks his very best when he is at home with his family.

     

    He always looks in great shape away from the spot light.

     

     

    It was obvious he was on loads of steroids to get him through the tour & long term use of those are bad for your bones I believe so just as well he's off duty...those long tours do not suit him , he's stuck between a rock & a hard place because that is where his audience is these days

     

    I have noticed over here in the past two months that they are playing quite a bit of his hits on local radio at the request of the listeners to the shows

    Most of the albums theses days are centered around what would work in a stadium as that is where he does best these days so I am sure they will stick with that formula . As a fan I am delighted he is doing the UTR releases but it looks like we will never see songs like those on a commercial album so I feel we have the best of both worlds

     

    I look at the likes of Tom Jones still working away at what over 70 so I think has a bit to go yet :lol:

    It looks like for the Aussie/NZ tour the new album isn't even getting a look in - other than in the name.

     

    I wonder if he'll even sing any of the new songs?

     

    What a waste if he doesn't. -_-

     

     

    Do you mean UTR Vol2 Laura, I doubt it as the tour is about THES & nobody would know the new songs , I always think he could slot in bits of the new songs into his existing show but maybe it's too much hassle getting it together. I bet he will fly directly from LA to Australia with little time for rehearsals ,, typical Robbie. Another think is the kilt will be way too big for him , he as lost a lot of weight since last summer ...

    My parents always had a real Xmas tree, I can well remember the scent that came off it , really lovely, my Dad used to put the tree in a wide large wide coal in a bucket, add about two inches of water & then wrap the bucket in decorations that he made himself , the tree used to last for ages & did not lose it's pine needles quickly

     

    He then used the coal for the fire when all the tree was taken down , he was well into recycling before it was ever trendy :P

    Id never seen the Abbey Road gig before that night. It was all new to me.

     

     

    & me also Laura, I cannot believe that was over 11 years ago :o . I still like that session . There was another he did I think for the BBC a few years back, I must try & find it, remember it was an accoustic session where the band members were standing on the floor around him & it was all very natural.

    You were lucky to have New Year's Day off, Syd, and I say that due to the fact I was scheduled to work for the day....not me favorite thing to do, work on a holiday....

     

     

    & the tree covers a multitude of dust while it's up :lol:

    What New Year cards you mean or Christmas cards?

     

    We received and sent Christmas cards.

     

     

    Christmas cards, I love seeing them come in the door & then I can stick them on my mantlepiece

     

    I did get a New Year card yesterday , a neighbour of my sister who passed away a number of years ago sent it , it was kind of her to remember so a card can have a lot of meaning to it :)

    Tess - how do you download the photo from a video link?

     

     

    I use the Snipping Tool feature Laura ( instructions are in the link below. it's simple to do ) ...have a go & see what happens
