  1. 'Don't Marry Her' I remember from the radio when I was younger (minus the swear words that I discovered later). Lovely song. 'These Dreams' by Heart is such a lovely song! Misteeq - Why is a good garage song!
  2. Is it that Clams Casino thing that appeared a while ago on the Spotify charts?
  3. Good track. I assume the other song to keep 'Man In The Mirror' off the #1 spot is still to come.
  4. Wow both of them are epic dark/Gothic pop rock productions! Voted for All The Things She Said because I like the synth bit in it.
  5. KWS have a better singer than Double You imo, but musically its near identical. Please Don't Go is quite good and a bit of a classic but not as good as East Side Beat - Ride Like The Wind was.
  6. The Steve Lacy song reminds me of DJO who was #1 last week.
  7. That sounds great, I always thought of U.S.U.R.A. as a one hit wonder with the very good 'Open Your Mind' and its iconic video.
  8. Voted for the muddy puddle.
  9. Sounds good. Maybe Becky Hill is probably more Radio 2 now!
  10. This isn't bad but just a bit cheap and pointless with an obvious well known sample and not much else added to it.
  11. Listened to 'The Irish Rover' now, I had forgotten about it, its good.
  12. Fantastic house mash-up one of the best! Better than the two original songs!
  13. Thought this thread was a spammer lol, wonder did any moderators nearly close it?!
  14. I wonder did anyone buy it by mistake as it has nearly the same name as the Starship #1 single at the same time! I definitely prefer Samantha Fox's debut though, I assume it didn't do well on the #3s rate though - tough competition!
  15. Talk Talk - Today is very good its like the start of the high energy synthpop path A-ha would eventually follow! But I still prefer their eponomously named Talk Talk as its more dancey! I will miss The Associates on this, one of the quirkiest bands ever! I really like the Haysi Fantasee novelty song, obviously influenced by Adam and the Ants and Bow Wow Wow.
  16. Pearly Spencer is so good! Hope it peaks at #9 so I can give it points in King Rollo's upcoming best #9s rate.
  17. The Gibson Brothers had a similarly titled single QUE SERA MI VIDA which got to #5 in early 1980.
  18. Danbruary to become a username please!
  19. Why does David Guetta's 'Locked In' sound like it samples Gigi D'Agostino Bla Bla Bla? Voted for Disco Lines sampling Madonna - Lucky Star!
  20. Breathe is the better song, despite the Las Ketchup nostalgia!
  21. Top 5 Blue Zoo - Cry Boy Cry Sylvester With Patrick Cowley - Do Ya Wanna Funk Daryl Hall And John Oates - Maneater The Jam - The Bitterest Pill (I Ever Had To Swallow) Mari Wilson - Just What I Always Wanted Simple Minds - Glittering Prize Ultravox - Reap The Wild Wind As usual I go for the danciest songs for top 3! The Jam song is glorious too and the Mari Wilson song is very catchy. Usually really like Ultravox but this is one of their weakest songs imo. Tie Break: Duran Duran - Save A Prayer (but I prefer Shut Up And Dance's hip hop version sampling it from 1995!)
  22. Erasure are interesting are they heading more here towards the synthy Haddaway style Eurodance-pop sound that would emerge in 1993-4?
  23. I only know the Sum 41 song from that bunch, quite a hard-hitting song listening to it now! Assuming All*bySmashMouth gave it a lot of its points!?
  24. 'I Need A Doctor' is quite good even if Eminem is a bit shouty in it! 'Johnny Come Home' is a good song to dance to! Some house vibes with the piano.
  25. Really like Rita Ora and Charli's 'Doing It' great pop duet! Great 60s jazzy song 'Do you know the way to San Jose'.
