  1. Only really familiar with the Joni Mitchell version of This Flight Tonight. My dad has her albums. So many good #11 peaking songs.
  2. 'Guilt' and 'Firestone' are standout songs for dubstep and tropical house respectively. 'Fly On The Wings of Love' is cheesy but fun and also may have influenced the recent hyperpop genre.
  3. It reminds me of Camila Cabello.
  4. Plastic Bertrand might have placed higher if it wasn't in that advert that was on so much a few years ago. Fools' Gold has one of the best basslines.
  5. Thanks for the Apple update, rare on here now cause danG doesn't really do them any more. Glad Bebe and Faithless doing well. No Ewan McVicar or ANOTR in the top 200 is odd as dance hits generally do well on Apple.

I like the moodiness of the Bella Kay song. Would prefer that to be #1.
  7. Take That - Pray using the wood chime sound made popular by Too Late by Quartz and Dina Carroll. Good song anyway! 'Living On My Own' is good 80s style hi-NRG with a 90s update.

It sounds very Clubland, like it's from 2003. Following on from Levi Heron reviving that sound last year.
  9. The original instrumental is very like Kylie's 'Love At First Sight'. The Mall Grab remix should have had a Bizarre Inc. rave style part in it to make it more interesting.

If all of us stream it (including Bror), hopefully it will!
  11. Only a matter of time until you become a chart forum mod!
  12. 'Big Love' never gets a revival :(

This week hopefully. Need a Buzzjack streaming party today from now till Thursday. Ciao Bella!
  14. 'Why' is ahead of its time, it has 90s vibes with the piano and also the rhythm being like a bit like Ace of Base. 'Leave In Silence' is much darker from Depeche Mode, they had really changed.
  15. Both artists use x and + symbols of course! Why was the collab never officially released?
  16. 'Young At Heart' is nostalgic for me as it was on the radio a lot in the 90s because of the rerelease. In a 1984 chart original release context it sounds like they were one of those bands who thought they were trying to be less commercial by not using synthesizers. The reggae songs to me are summery and pretty good. I am reminded how much Peter Andre copied the verse melody of 'Sweat A La Long'. 'Tease Me' is more of a dance track production-wise. 'Informer' is catchy! The Take That track is boring.
  17. DaBaby ‒ Pop Dat Thang has some awful lyrics but the production is good - I do like the faster production compared to most hip hop. Juvenile feat. Genesisthegawd Or & Megan Thee Stallion ‒ B B B also has awful lyrics but at least the female rappers have more a say in it. Shaboozey and Jelly Roll - Amen still the best of the many country songs in the chart with its tavern violin sound. Dylan Scott ‒ What He'll Never Have is a decent new entry though. Elsewhere, some good jazzy Bruno Mars songs at least!

Its very film soundtrack. Someone could do a good serious melodic dance remix of it. @danG ?
  19. Voted for 'Maybe Tomorrow' but I still really like it.
  20. Viva La Vida is very good apart from a few cringe anachronistic lyrics 'Roman cavalry choirs are singing'.
  21. I really like the Bob Sinclar and Keisza version of 'I Can't Wait'. The new track by Kungs and Boyz Noise - Get Away has similar vibes and I really like both - both 80s influenced tracks. Bebe Rexha and Faithless' track is very good too.
  22. And now Kungs new track has a rather similar style drop part! Love both 80s influenced tracks!
  23. Why after Bob Sinclar/Keisza last week another Nu Shooz I Cant Wait influenced drop (Kungs x Boyz Noise)? Still voted for it, fun 80s hi-NRG vibes.
  24. For 2001 the Samantha Mumba track is a very nice pop song. For 1996, Robert Miles was great. Also Passion by Gat Decor sounds like a modern Beatport tech house song!
