Paddington James ranks the 2011 #1's
Didn't like it at the time thought they were culturally appropriating the accordion from Portuguese-speaking-world holiday music! Now I think its rather good.

Calvin Harris & Jazzy - Satisfy
Maybe if they released the video first week it could have gone top 40.

Dance Track of the Week: Week 24
Not a very good week, voted for Overmono, it a nice progressive take on the modern Omar+/Silva Bumpa sound. Nah don't like the wobble effect drop.

90s Top 10 sales- Week By Week- 1999
Lots of good dance hits. Its a pity only the most basic, Wamdue Project, seems to have inspired today's chart dance and Beatport dance. Adagio is good, but I prefer Tiesto's Adagio even if it is a bit noisy in its buildup lol.

Julian rates every Top 40 hit: the 1980s edition
'Autodrive' is basically almost piano house a few years ahead of time. Elsewhere, I should disapprove of Tracey Ullman bringing back 60s bubblegum style production but 'They Don't Know' is a very nice song indeed and charming. 'Hey You, Rocksteady Crew' is good and modern for the time although there would be better synth dance/R&B and breakdancing songs in 1984. The Paul McCartney bit of 'Say Say Say' sounds twee and dated. Not surprised that Hi_Tack only sampled Michael's euphoric parts. Still like the track and video though. 'Superman' is fun but a bit forgotten compared to later and better party dance tracks.

Andrea Bocelli, David Guetta, EJAE & Megan Thee Stallion - DNA (More Than a Game)
Yeah it sounds pretty weak and 2018. Mind you I would have liked it if David Guetta brought back his early 2010s sound but he didn't.

Thought the official was Shakira and Burna Boy.

Capital FM Playlist 2026
Yeah that was one of @Bror 's recent Wordle answers. Another case for: https://radiofail.wordpress.com/ Although maybe they cover it up better than other stations with the autopilot.

Iz ranks the 2010 #1s
Pass Out is great yes it is more Flux Pavilion style dubstep than drum and bass but the ending is great. Fireflies is a nice tune and I'm glad it was #1 rather than Jedward or Glee, but I prefer more upbeat synthpop.

Becky Hill - More! More! More!
I think she should put out a trance/progressive track! Surrender with Alesso was great.

Custom Tracklists
To Cut A Long Story Short the best song of the album, love the new wave electronics. Stop the Cavalry obviously really iconic too especially for a winter album.

The decor of the house looks modern for 1980!

Julian rates every Top 40 hit: the 1980s edition
Alarm 68 Guns is good and sounds quite a bit 90s Britpop with the production, specifically Boo Radleys Wake Up Boo. This Is Not A Love Song - I love the title and lyrics and the video is funny too! Howard Jones - New Song is very poppy for synthpop and not as innovative as it tries to portray. However it is still a decent enough song. Tired of hearing Karma Chamaeleon too. A bit poppy for me anyway.

Custom Tracklists
Not a massive 1980 fan as there are less electronic tracks than 1979 and 1981. 'Feels Like I'm In Love' and 'Funkytown' are great though, the former a lot of fun and the best #1 of the year for me.

Biggest act without a UK number one: the poll
It used to be 'Maneater', 'I can't go for that' and 'Out of Touch' their most famous tracks in UK.

Iz ranks the 2010 #1s
I liked it at the time, great vocal from Hayley and good rap verses, but it spent way too long in the chart. It spawned a lot of soundalike hits with rapper in verse then singer in chorus. It has aged well though, I assume it is considered by many a verified classic.

My Eurovision rankings, country by country
Dubstep in Eurovision I don't remember much, but I remember the bass beat deep house production like Duke Dumont - Won't Look Back turned up in Eurovision in about 2015 in at least one entry.

DaTilt's 100 Favourite UK Top 20 Hits of 1991
Good tune! ZTT Records had some interesting electronic stuff in the 80s especially Propaganda - Dr Mabuse and The Art of Noise.
