What a list have to post Joseph's Cilla meme again!
  2. The song's missing a beat.
  3. I thought Mila Falls' peak popularity was years ago, 'New Levels' with Tobtok I remember doing well on the itunes chart. Pity it wan't much of a hit elsewhere!
  4. I suppose Garrix was going less hard by 2015 with stuff like 'Don't Look Down' (which is still nostalgic though). Yeah 'Repeat It' is very Heart FM dance lol!
  5. Went for James Hype kind of reviving the 90s Eurodance synth riff!
  6. Would be ironic if Australia and Israel are the top 2, as neither country is in geographical Europe.
  7. It didn't cut the mustard?!
  8. That Cappella song is very good and fun. The 80s Hi-NRG and synth influence by sampling Alphaville is great. Like him or not, Meatloaf was going to go to #1 because of the crossover appeal with older record buyers who remember him from the 70s! The Dina Carroll song builds well and is a bit Whitney sounding in production.
  9. CGI not AI!
  10. It is less basic than 'Dior'. Poppy is the new Jazzy?!
  11. 'Larger Than Life' is a bop. 'When The Heartache Is Over' I recognised from being sampled by Freemasons - Love On My Mind in 2005! I prefer Westlife's first two #1s to 'Flying Without Wings'. Sad the 90's on this thread are nearly over :(

Omg reminds me of this thread: Ruin a 20th Century song title by changing one letter... a game for all! - Page 5 - 20th Century Retro - BuzzJack Music Forum
  13. This reminds me of Levi Heron - The Glen!

Capital are so petty. Olivia Dean though like Sienna Spiro is genre-wise more Heart than Capital!
  15. 'Hot for You' rate S'express>>>>Julio Bashmore and Jessie Ware>>>>>>>>>>>This
  16. 'Go' and 'Midnight Sun' the only chart causes for celebration in Buzzjack this year so far?!
  17. Gracie will probably go low top 40 The +× duo probably won't sadly.
  18. Its a bit of a mess. Great vocal from Fergie and Chris Willis though. I much prefer David Guetta's progressive house songs. One (Your Name) is so euphoric, I didn't appreciate it enough at the time and only got into SHM with 'Miami 2 Ibiza'. Magnetic Man - I Need Air is good.
  19. PP version sounds like they used the bassline from DJ Fresh - Gold Dust.
  20. 'Every Breath You Take' is depressing especially when you know the true meaning of the song. A really important song to be made to highlight the problem of stalking but yeah the song's been a bit overplayed on the radio. I really like that Forrest - Feel The Need In Me cover it sounds like a late 80s dance track. Big Country are very good and unique sounding. Booker Newberry III the first and only artist to chart with a Roman Numeral title?! Wham! continuing on their Brit-funk journey and 'Waiting For A Train' very Dire Straits influenced with the spoken word vocal. Money Go Round (Part One) a good political song.
  21. Another track to enter at #1! Mix of piano house and disco and it works well, one of Take That's less dated sounding songs. The Meatloaf song is very good and nostalgic (I remember the video a lot) even though operatic rock isn't one of my favourite genres.
  22. Ashanti - Only U has interesting 'rock guitar' style production. I only discovered the song after Chase and Status sampled it in 'Selecta' ft. Stefflon Don (and it sounds very much like C&S's early guitar based sound). I prefer Ashanti's song 'Foolish' because of the lovely piano in it. I am guessing you didn't like the Aitch revival of 'Rok Wit U (Aww Baby)' in 2022 either. Thought it was a nice summery track.
  23. Didn't know 'Wild Thing' was a cover. I wonder will you like The Troggs' other really well known song or will it be ruined by future overplay of a cover of it?! Thought 'Strangers In The Night' was a 50's song.
  24. Temptation is great it is based on the Northern Soul fast beat but that and the female vocal make it sound a bit like a precursor to late 80s dance like Yazz. Love Is A Stranger is very good, quite dark though!
