  1. Lethal Bizzle's discography is good and interesting. Alas, his two dance-poppier hits (Party Right, The Drop) are kind of hidden on spotify when you search Lethal Bizzle. Elsewhere, Jax Jones and D Double E collab might be added soon to the playlist.
  2. There were actually quite a few dance number 1's that year thinking about it, nothing compared to 2014 though!
  3. I really liked Champagne Showers better than the other LMFAO songs at the time but her vocal was pitched up like Scooter so if you didn't know, it could be anyone singing it.

A lot of the crowd didn't really know who Sabrina was then. I thought Raye would be #1 she's usually the most critically acclaimed.
  5. 'Blue Monday' is a bit overrated but still very good and ahead of its time. The Cure would use quite similar production in 'The Walk'. 'Don't Talk To Me About Love' is more poppy sounding than their usual sound but good from Altered Images.

Lewistgreen going for posters chart top 10!
  7. 12 +2 Josh Fawaz - Like a Prayer Suddenly I'm nostalgic for Mad'house, their version was better than this!
  8. I preferred 400 Miles (Fields of Fire). Forgot about Eurythmics fab Love Is A Stranger so have to change my votes.
  9. It's a, it's a, it's a..... Worthy winner. But You Win Again is very good too.
  10. Sounds very good. Is it melodic techno, trance or festival progressive house?

Interesting to put her political position in her chosen artist name! Here before Suedehead might say that on his blog. It sounds quite a nice song and a bit nostalgic country.
  12. 'Just Dance' sounded big at the time, and I much preferred it to 'Poker Face', still do.
  13. Heaven 17 - Temptation Eurythmics - Love Is A Stranger Forrest - Feel The Need In Me The Human League - (Keep Feeling) Fascination Blancmange - Blind Vision D Train - Music (Part 1) Big Country - In A Big Country Tears For Fears - Pale Shelter Yazoo - Nobody's Diary Temptation is very good and iconic and builds up a lot, Blancmange - Blind Vision likewise. Its a pity Heaven 17's follow-ups were nowhere near as good as 'Temptation'. 'Love is a Stranger' is great dark synthpop. I think Forrest's cover of 'Feel The Need' sounds like a late 80s dance track. One of Human Leagues best too top 5 and then just missing out good synth dance/proto-house from D Train. Another goodie from Big Country too. Yazoo song is nice too. Still not as good a selection of music as 1982 in my opinion.
  14. Maybe its just this year they are going low profile because of the boycotts.
  15. 'Let Your Love Flow' came back in a frequently played Barclaycard giant slide advert in 2008 and that's probably how most people know it now! 'More, More, More' also because of Rachel Stevens' 2004 cover and then sofa adverts.
  16. I think @Dj Cheeky magpie is implying the song is metaphorically 'played on loop'.
  17. 'Pray' is a very nice song and yes better than their previous snorefest.
  18. Yeah love it or hate it 'Whats Up' is a classic! I like it.
  19. Sounds like he's just mixed the original with the guitar bit from Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You.

There were some fun Lizzo-isms in the lyrics of Gaga and Doechii Runway so it's appropriate that she is making a return now.
  21. I like the Eurodance vibes of the Madonna + Sabrina track hopefully it will be big and start a trend.
  22. Label is Atlantic not Bella Kay!
  23. Why did it?
