  1. Sven , that song is pretty good and funny apart from the too loud commentator shouting. and the first line about the haircut :puke:
  2. Much preferable imo to annoying pitched up 'You Bring Me Joy'.
  3. That Mary J Blige song is certainly catchy and the best song of that bunch imo!

Excellent, most of my late 70s and 80s faves are here, I would have chosen different Yazoo, Duran, Ultravox, Japan and Talk Talk songs but I suppose their highest charting/best known synthpop songs should be represented and songs like 'Only You' and 'Ghosts' do represent the more downbeat or minimalist form of synthpop. I mostly prefer more upbeat synthpop and also 80s synthpop with guitars in it too eg. Ultravox, Classix Nouveaux, Animotion I think but I will listen to everything on this playlist thanks. There are a few songs on the playlist I don't know at all. 'Oh Yeah' by Yello like Donna Summer's 'I Feel Love' could be categorised as dance I think too but I like both's inclusion on here! Funkytown fits well there on the mostly mid to late 80s disc 4 as there was of course a cover in 1987 by Pseudo Echo that was a hit.
  5. I remember the 'Smooth Criminal' cover from the time and I didn't really like it at the time but I do now. 'Side' I remember liking from the time. I agree with you about Kings of Tomorrow - Finally, the later version was better.
  6. I wonder will this with the help of Becky, outpeak in the UK chart Andy C's last hit in 2014, the excellent 'Heartbeat Loud' ft Fiora which was possibly my favourite track of the year!? It got to #50 in the UK.
  7. Its just silly news hype headlines, I doubt it will change much even if RFK Jr. does support Trump, I am still predicting a Kamala win.
  8. Then the X Factor ones Shakespears Sister - Stay Goo Goo Dolls - Iris Train - Drops of Jupiter Alexa Goddard - Turn My Swag On
  9. C&C? Everybody dance now! Surely you mean C&S!
  10. 'Starlight' is very good and endearing with the video, I assumed the Superman Lovers were a duo or group. 'It Began In Africa' is a good follow on to the Safri Duo trend. 'Out of Control' is another great Darude single, yes its more poppy than the other two but I really like it. 'On The Move' is probably my favourite tune of the bunch, very energetic and a bit hyper.

  13. Just remembered this with its Lasgo - Something reminscent ending synths: 2017 Avicii ft Sandro Cavazzo - Without You
  14. 2016 Imany – Don't Be So Shy (Filatov & Karas Remix) 2017 Burak Yeter ft Danielle Sandoval - Tuesday Gotta nominate those two Euro-hits (and UK flops :( ). 'Tuesday' might not have charted in European countries until 2017 so I am putting it under that year, not sure (with 'Don't Be So Shy' the same but a year earlier).
  15. Sorry for assuming :D
  16. So for the 20th century forum banner I am guessing 60s 70s 80s and 90s logos with beside them distinctive photographs from each era. Plus vinyl records, cassette and CDs being depicted.
  17. I remember the Uncle Kracker song a lot from the time. Didn't think the lyrics were creepy before but now you've mentioned it, the 'I'll be the one to tuck you in at night' maybe. Some iconic tracks in the next batch. You could maybe have reviewed that N-Trance - Set You Free 2001 remix (the Rob Searle remix) - I am guessing you prefer the original then!
  18. Discovered this #32 hit from 1992 a few years ago. A juicy red apple is nice... 6Zaw2FS0QKo
  19. Duke Dumont getting a hit in 2024 wasn't on my bingo card list! Song reminds me of Sigala/Becky Wish You Well (which is a good thing imo).
  20. So in the early 00s there was both Creamy and Milky and also Milk and Sugar! EDIT: also Milk Inc too.
  21. Hide U is a bit monotone and repetitive for me, I prefer some of Kosheen's other songs. Slusnik Luna - Sun is my favourite of the last batch, the big buildup and vocal effects I like in it!
  22. 2015 Sigala (feat. Bryn Christopher) - Sweet Lovin (please get more votes than Easy Love) 99 Souls (feat. Destiny's Child & Brandy) - The Girl Is Mine Tchami ft Kaleem Taylor - Promesses
  23. Only voted for Marvin and The Beatles songs.
  24. Sorry for any inconvenience.
  25. I updated my 2015-23 noms.
