  1. Bus Stop is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me and better than the N-Trance and Clock covers. The Brandy and Monica song is a nice song!
  2. Thought your worst unlistenable record would have been the shouty FATMANSCOOPCROOKLYNCLAN FATMANSCOOPCROOKLYNCLAN 😆
  3. Its a nice enough song but Sinead Quinn's single was better.
  4. Kar-Aoki but good, doesn't ruin the song Also it seems like a lot of the early 2010s EDM era DJs are doing higher bpm hard dance/trance now.

The melody very much reminds me of Shontelle's T-Shirt!

Great playlist will defintiely listen to this. John Waite - Missing You is a good emotive one too! Forgot to include Wet Wet Wet - Wishing I was Lucky is the best of their's. Also for late 90s would have liked to see Kiss The Rain by Billie Myers.

    You softies!
  8. This song reminded me a lot of Eurovision at the time, which was a good thing, but also seemed in comparison a bit cheap and less authentic to me!
  9. Also Five coming to the end of their chart career and Blue only really starting.
  10. For Artful Dodger in 2001, Think About Me is defintiely better than Twentyfourseven Starlight by Supermen Lovers is a massive classic!
  11. 'Horny 98' was a very cringe and embarrassing song to hear as a 6 year old child at the time as I was in 1998. The brass riff and verses are good though. 'C'est la vie' I preferred back then though!
  12. Voted for KSHMR but the new Joel Corry song is good too.
  13. I prefer this to Blessings the production is more punchy and interesting.
  14. Voted for the The P***ycat Dolls. Overplayed track and they have better imo.
  15. Nice track. Uses similar synths in the drop to Chris Malinchak - If U Got It.
  16. And yes as I said, Cliff Richard and Enigma starting a panpipes trend in late 1990! Sadeness is brilliant! The Snap! song is good too, better than their previous single!
  17. I don't know how they will compete against the new Corbyn party. Edit: Just read the opening post about the recent problem in 'Your Party'.
  18. Saviours Day one of the most ambient and least annoying Christmas songs, preferable to Mistletoe and Wine and also has some panpipes in it, which will become a bit of a trend. The Farm -All Together Now is an epic! Used to be one of the songs I most associated the 90s with, probably becuase it was played a lot on programmes about the decade. Pachalbel's Canon is great too. Who else sampled it - N-Dubz and Bodyrox! 'Wicked Game' is a good ambient moody ballad too. Basically the same lyrical themes as Jona Lewie - Stop The Cavalry but doesn't have the bells so it is not deemed as Christmassy.
  19. Yeah they are more interesting songs imo!
  20. 'Ray of Light' is fab. 'Teardrop' is a nice enough song but overrated. The Mavericks song was on the radio lots I remember nostalgic! The song I think sounds more late 50s or early 60s than 90s. 'Last Thing On My Mind' is a great ABBA-influenced song. One of the best pop songs of the year, although if next week's Aqua song is what I think it is then that's also up there among the best of pop of 1998.
  21. 5 Years Time was catchy but irritating with its 'sun, sun, sun' and 'fun fun fun' chorus 'Disturbia' is great. 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved' is nostalgic too. 'No Air' is a very good song and nostalgic especially Jordin Sparks' voice. 'Crazy World' was a sign of drum and bass's increasing popularity along with Pendulum a few months before going top 10.
  22. Jimmy should have continued his more upbeat dance style, his cover of To Love Somebody veers close to Clock's covers in 1997 in terms of cheesiness. EMF - Unbelieivable is iconic and fab. 808 State song is sort of ravey but rave would go harder in 1991.
  23. Voted for 'Don't Cha' - overplayed over the years and the Dolls have better tracks imo.
