I forgot to comment on the batch before that - Fire Wire is a great unpoppy hard trance song and Drops of Jupiter is easily the best Train song for me, and is one of my favourite soft rock songs ever.

Glad someone liked the Tall Paul INXS remix and Raven Maize song - both very sensible and modern Beatport sounding dance as I said.

I really like the unremixed radio edit of Tall Paul vs INXS - 'Precious Heart' it sounds very modern deep tech house, like Camelphat. The 'Real Life' is also a sensible dance track that could be from now. Cygnus X - Superstring Rank 1 remix is some good atmospheric trance. Perfect Gentleman is very good and I remember it from the time. '21 Seconds' is good, an uncommercial sounding #1.

Well done Y'all Starlight the catchy 1, 2, 3 chorus of 'No Time' reminds me of BL3SS - Kisses lyrically. Thought my entry would do better than it did.

That Celine song is another big MOR radio favourite. Forgot about that JX single cover art; it is iconic!

I can think of another that I prefer.

That JX track is a bit cheesy lyrically but the backing vocal and production is great.

I categorised them as new jack swing influenced big productions with 'orchestra hit' sound effects.

Castles brilliant and lyrically enigmatic. Sail Away I used to really like maybe not quite as much now as it is a bit of a cheesy love song. The Da Hool song is good. A huge classic in the next batch!

Oops I've got 99 problems singing 'Bye Bye Bye'. Hold up. :drama: Billie Piper's 'Day and Night' was a better example of that style of production I think, I wish it could have its time in the sun.

I remember Don't Look Any Further by M People as it was a dance number 1 on the excellent 90s Dance Number 1s thread http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=5209082 I still prefer the M People version to this but this has a good bassline to it.
