That David Guetta song sounds like The Shapeshifters mixed with Clean Bandit when they were good mixed with lyrical themes like Pet Shop Boys' It's Alright! I like it. Guetta has another song featuring Bonnie Tyler so maybe that could be for the Radio 2 playlist! EDIT: already mentioned on the thread. 'The One' is also great but that has a more 1996 Livin Joy Don't Stop Movin sort of sound.

You'd have loved the Iconic Buzzjack radio station sound compression thread on Buzzjack about the late great Steve Wright apparently using a lot of sound compression in his show on Radio 2, compared to other Radio 2 DJs, don't know where the thread's gone though!

I remember from the itunes thread on here that there was once a Chris Brown album on itunes some time in the mid 2010s that credited all the producers and songwriters in the song titles.

Thats confusing there is ARTMS and Artemas and also Arty which was branded ARTY in the past.

'Living By Numbers' is fab if a bit melancholy. I recently discovered 'Glad Its All Over', a top 10 single by Captain Sensible in 1983 which has a very similar chorus melody I think! Some of the Pina Colada song lyrics are quite patronising especially 'If you're not into yoga, if you have half a brain'. The song is catchy melodically though.

This is not great; I usually like bassline rap stuff but in this the production is a bit boring, the other new Skepta track with Sammy Virij is more interesting I think!

I am so used to the Alesso remix of 'If I Lose Myself' that was played a lot on radio at the time apart from Radio 2 (was disappointed they were a bit anti-dance music and didn't play it at the time)!

We go down to #150 or #200? Then I am hoping the 2010s edition starts!

Production is a bit depressing on that No Broke Boys remix. I guess it's influenced by the Chrystal NOTION remix. I wish euphoric dance would come back, I am such an early 00s and early 10s dance kind of guy!
