I didn't much like Paloma Faith's ballads much at the time but I do like Skye Newman's Family Matters even though its very similar in singing style! Odd! I suspected they weren't gonna play 'The Glen' on the chart show! I doubt they will playlist it either its just not very Radio 1. The James Hype song won't go away....looking to blast the Chris Brown hit of the same name into irrelevance. The violin sample in Cops and Robbers is crazy sounding!

'Heart of Gold' is a bit too cheesy and cliched for me! 'Pray' is good by Lasgo I prefer it to 'Alone'. The Jennifer Lopez track is iconic and catchy but nowhere near as good imo as her early songs. Interesting to think with the whole US R&B/European dance music divide at this time (and little crossover) in the charts that in just under 10 years the musical divide would become mixed and she would be still be in the charts making dance songs like Dance Tonight with Pitbull with similar synths to the likes of Kelly Llorenna or Lasgo!
