  1. Is Bebe Rexha/Faithless more likely to be playlisted by Radio 2?
  2. "From the 80s with New Order, to the 90s with Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers, to the 00s with LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk and early Calvin Harris, to even now with Fcukers and The Dare, there is a wide variety to choose from (plus even more with the guitar element thrown in too!). This is a side to dance music that hopefully everyone can find their own in considering its wide genre and decade spanning existence." _________________________________________________________________ Even in the late 70s with some of the electronic new wave too like BA Robertson - Bang Bang. And in 1982 there's a lot of stuff as we have seen in the recent threads on the 20th Century Forum on here. Its a wide long running genre and I will struggle to pick the best song to send but I will.
  3. Hopefully soon. Its not that dated given its flat drone synth sound is similar to James Hype - Waterfalls.
  4. I don't think he set out to make it viral he was at some complex of buildings and Into The Groove happened to be playing and he said 'follow that tune'.
  5. Kylie - not one of her best
  6. I hope we will be steppin' out into 1983 soon!
  7. Has itunes revived a bit in popularity since 2021?
  8. It is good!
  9. The food references sound definitely influenced by Europapa and Espresso Machiatta.
  10. 'All Day and Night' by Europa and Madison Beer vibes.
  11. Good itunes #1!
  12. Pure 2011-12 nostalgia.
  13. Nothing's gonna stop you now!
  14. That was a great rundown Dandy* I wonder who on this forum will do what year next? The current streaming revival for Madonna - Into The Groove really makes me wish someone would do 1985 soon!
  15. And you can dance, for inspiration. C'mon. I'm waiting!
  16. I will predict FUFN, but your probably right, won't be enough pop voters for Jade to win.
  17. 'Exterminate' by Snap! is very melodic rave and trip hop, I really like it. Thanks for the 1992 rundown Gezza.
  18. Yeah I like the choruses deep and unusual key/melody reminds me a bit of Alanis Morissette's - Head Over Feet.
  19. Who is @TheChartSpark? The site looks like PaddyPower betting with the green branding!
  20. Misread it as Spice Girls x Mint Royale for a second there thought he was doing a remix! Well done anyway for their commemorative coin.
  21. A no to this one. It melodically reminds me of a Martin Solveig track from 10 years ago '+1' which was better and more interesting. Martin Solveig « +1 » (feat. Sam White) [Official Video]
  22. TheSnake posted a post in a topic in R&B and Hip-Hop
I have heard of Ghetts, he was big at one point in the 2010s! Awful news and events. :(
  23. Phorever People is fab and while it may be a bit poppier than their other stuff it's a good precursor to the Eurodance trend of 1993-5. I like Gloria Estefan's upbeat songs! A house version of Dr Beat before Mylo in 2005. Also I just realised in November 1992, Felix - It Will Make Me Crazy narrowly missed out on top 10 at #11 - in production, it reminds me of Tomcraft Loneliness 11 years early! Great tune.
