  1. 'No Woman No Cry' is good but a sad song too. Thought a Bob Marley remix ('Is this Love' ft Lvndscape and Bolier) made the top 10 in 2016 but actually it only got to #16.
  2. My dad was at the time a fan of Savage Garden so the release of 'Insatiable' was a big event - very good track. Close (To The Edit) is good too, a precursor to house music a few years later. I also much prefer the original with the rave synths. The video of the 2008 version though was ahead of its time about a viral dance craze.
  3. I'm surprised Boy George didnt try for Ireland before, he is of Irish descent. Edward Maya for the Romanian noms too Stereo Love still a classic!
  4. Disturbing to say the least, I really like 'Someone's Looking At You' from the Boomtown Rats! Way better than 'I Don't Like Mondays'.
  5. Ian Dury is iconic. B.A Robertson, Jona Lewie (kitchen at parties) and Bill Wyman (Je suis un rock star) copied Ian Dury's vocal style! 'Video Killed The Radio Star' I never used to like much but I do now, majestic.
  6. 'Remember Me' I thought was by Moby for a long time! Good tune!
  7. Great and ahead of its time tune
  8. Didn't like it at the time, because I thought it took itself too seriously compared to Wilkinson's previous songs. Its only now I realise it is better than our few current modern dance hits or Beatport top 100 hits.
  9. Williams defintely the better 1992 Vanessa in the charts. I see what Lenny Kravitz was doing with the 60s soul revival sound like his own glorious 'It Ain't Over' but 'Be My Baby' is just not a great song. Speaking of 60s soul revival, 'Would I Lie To You' is memorable and a good song.
  10. Share The House is just melodically like an inferior version of 'Martin Solveig - +1' from 10 years ago.

    After the BAFTA controversy?
  12. I really liked the song at the time. There wasn't much like it in the charts at the time. Thought it was never going to be top 10 it stayed for ages just outside the top 10. Starships was a Nikki novelty rap song too far for me though!
  13. I like Boss Drum. Not a fan of the novelty rave songs it sort of killed off the genre's credibility.
  14. Two of the other members of Bus Stop went on to form Flip and Fill too.
  15. That EBTG song sounds good, albeit not near the glory of 'Missing' (Todd Terry remix).

It mentions a train and it reminds me a bit of Train - Drive By.
  17. 'Kung Fu Fighting' is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me!
  18. Meh at that Chris Brown track. 'No Air' was better because Jordin Sparks is great in it.
  19. Its odd that much of 1980's chart isn't very synthy despite the influence of 1979 tracks like 'Cars'. The chart only gets very synthy in 1981. 'Cars' is very good and ahead of its time, 'Koochy' by Armand van Helden which sampled it is interesting but also bit of a mess though! Yeah 'I Don't Like Mondays' I am not a fan of, it leaves a bitter taste when you know the background and subject matter.
  20. Its like an inferior +1 by Martin Solveig from 10 years ago! Voted for Fred Again and Jamie T, a decent synth indie track. Pity Fred is one of the few dance artists that can reliably chart in the UK these days.
  21. Yeah Rage definitely had the best dance cover of 1992, stadium rock translated to stadium house. I do like the original Bryan Adams track too.
  22. I liked the horsegiirl (pan pipe rave yay), Robin Schulz and Tiesto tracks. Voted for Tiesto.

I assume December 10's entry is to do with a lot of physicals/ signings.
  24. Camila Cabello and Playboy Carti have the superior 'Iloveitiloveitiloveit' themed song.
  25. Lol at the two Doctors at #6 and #7 A Million Love Songs is quite Spandau Ballet mixed with Wet Wet Wet, I prefer their more upbeat songs. The Boyz 2 Men ballad is a bit better. The Arrested Development song is a bit of a 90s R&B classic.
