  1. Utah Saints Something Good is fab their best song and way better than the 2008 version. For Nick Berry, Heartbeat is much preferable to Every Loser Wins; good and nostalgic song even if I never watched the programme. It Only Takes A Minute is good, I like how it starts with the 2 Unlimited/rave style synth riff. George Michael going piano house with Too Funky, good track. In verse vocal style/lyrics it does sound a bit Right Said Fred I'm Too Sexy influenced though!
  2. I hope its more '12 to 12' sounding as that is easily my favourite from him.
  3. Pumpin Jumpin was one of the more interesting modern dance tracks with the Rockwell/Beatfreakz style spooky synths so its a bit sad to see it go.
  4. Greenland (or Denmark)
  5. Excellent will have to watch some of this - great setting - Cortina and the Italian Dolomites/Alps look lovely both in winter and the rest of the year!
  6. I remember reading before on here that most of the Clubland style dance releases and Eurodance were left off the Radio 1 playlist too from 2002-4 as well.
  7. Eminem. I didn't even like the Doctor and the Medics version of Spirit In The Sky as they tried to do an unfunny comedy rotine with it too!
  8. Talk Talk - Talk Talk The Human League - Mirror Man Yazoo - The Other Side Of Love A Flock Of Seagulls - Wishing (If I Had A Photograph Of You) Blancmange - Living On The Ceiling Malcolm McLaren And The World's Famous Supreme Team - Buffalo Gals The Maisonettes - Heartache Avenue Duran Duran - Rio Marvyn Gaye - (Sexual) Healing Whitesnake - Here I Go Again Renee And Renato - Save Your Love Talk Talk a great dancey synthpop tune, Yazoo catchy tune and Mirror Man one of Human League's best! Flock of Seagulls ahead of their time too, sounds more mid or late 80s. Blancmange with the dance beats ahead of time too and Indian influences perhaps inspired by Monsoon - Ever So Lonely. I don't dislike Save Your Love its a good link back to the early 1950s charts when dodgy operatic songs like this were popular (eg. David Whitfield).
  9. This is all very @Auld Lang Peen!
  10. 'Raving I'm Raving' and its chart run is iconic They also had another very good hit sampling Duran Duram 'Save A Prayer' in the 1995 charts. 'Hazard' is a sad but good track.
  11. I have asked for a 00s dance number 1s playlist for Buzzjack Presents (top selling dance songs in the chart each week) so hopefully we will get one in the future and many of those songs on your list may be on it. I liked all the disco and 80s influenced dance songs making the chart in 2004-6 - there were quite a lot!
  12. James Morrison Supermarkets
  13. The first minute of King of the Mountain is a bit boring but the rest of it is good!
  14. ....and Possibly a new Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly On Ice!
  15. I remember that Fragma and Maria Rubia song on the radio at the time. Nostalgic and a bit twee. I also remember the much cooler 'Ms Jackson' on the radio too! Dario G's cover of 'Dream To Me' was like an early 'Opera Song (Brave New World)'. The phase in popularity of operatic trance didn't last very long in chart terms sadly! Rui da Silva, Planet Funk and Jakatta have very good dance tracks too! As a child I was obsessed by the holiday sunny video and sound of 'Love Don't Cost A Thing'. And some on here dislike the U2 song but I think its good and nostalgic.
  16. I really like 'As', great soulful duet, my fave in that top 10, and 'It's Not Right But Its OK' and the Vengabus is good too!
  17. Addison Rae - Fame Is A Gun Tame Impala - Dracula Denon Reed & Cru2 - Let Him Go Ely Oaks - Running Around Sammy Virji & Skepta - Cops & Robbers PinkPantheress - Illegal PinkPantheress - Tonight Imogen Heap - Headlock Jade - FUFN (F*ck You For Now) Levi Heron - The Glen Aitch & Bou - Raving In The Studio
  18. Odd place to put that post. Addison Rae - Fame Is A Gun and sombr- 12 to 12 sound quite early 80s influenced though!
  19. TheSnake posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
    much
  20. I was getting Switch Disco and Disco Lines mixed up for a second there! Its quite Robin Schulz style European dance c. 2014.
  21. Oh my at some of those wildcards! Thanks Rollo.
  22. Good hard rock song! It didn't make my votes though
  23. I like 'Save A Prayer' but I recently discovered a hip hop and dance UK chart song from 1995 'Save It For The Mourning After' by Shut Up and Dance that heavily samples it and I prefer it! Bamboo Houses and Bamboo Music are good. The Toto Ceolo song is fun! 'Walking On Sunshine' is good, it is the more electronic form of R&B/dance which I prefer in the 80s. I prefer 'Glad Its All Over' from Captain Sensible.
  24. Clams Casino is a very good artist name - reminds me of steamed clams or should that be hams!
  25. I am really appreciating the acid house synth bassline in the second half of the song!
