Does anybody know if there are ILR charts from prior to the mid 90s as the main airplay charts were a joke before the mid 90s and too fast (faster than the sales chart at its highest turnover), can’t get an accurate idea of what were airplay staples of those years

Not part of the playlist But capital have added You Get What You Give by New Radicals into rotation. I find this extremely odd as they haven’t played an alternative rock song in more than a decade and a half What is going on?!

If EVERY single was sent to radio first then released after 4-8 weeks that way we could have chart runs like: 1-1-2-4-8-11-16-23-30-28-35-52-64-79-99 Or 3-10-12-17-22-31-41-54-67-86 Or 12-27-36-50-72 Or 7-19-36-64 Or 13-42-75 We would have higher turnover of singles and more variety hitting the top end.

I actually like Crazy What Love Can Do but I can speak for everyone when I say I am ABSOLUTELY SICK OF BECKY HILL. I’m sorry but I hope her voice changes and she stops making music. I like her but I’m starting to get sick of her. Her voice is great too but she needs to go on hiatus

Sigala has certainly gone down hill. His music was creative but after Came Here for Love I started not liking his music. Apart from wish you well and lullaby.

I detest this sigala song!! Such a basic song doesn’t do anything for me and it’s nothing like his earliest singles.

Good afternoon all! I completely forgot about the Sway song ‘Level Up’. And I remember hearing Texas’ ‘Halo’ all over the radio in 97. I have to say I prefer ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’ but ‘Glamorous’ is a big fave of mine.

Has anybody noticed Capital has widened their throwback playlist. I’ve heard music from before 2015 on there such as: Justin Timberlake - Rock Your Body, Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger. Those are ones I’ve heard the most but I’ve heard tonnes of songs once or twice. I’m glad they have gone down this approach!

I’m glad it got it this week at least otherwise Adele would have prevented this from happening. It’s mad what difference one song could have made if released esrlier
