Sigala/Paloma Faith and Shawn Mullins have both peaked at no. 9 with the songs having the same title (“Lullaby”) - just found it interesting.

Was hoping for 3 debuts in the top 10 (Calvin & Dua, Drake & Ruti) and one climber in to top 10 (Bebe, FGL) but I am really annoyed only 2 songs will become top 10s this week rather than 4 but maybe I shouldn’t hold my breath next time!

Thanks, before it used to be that track would go towards the double a side and track b would chart separately, so they’ve basically switched it to double a side goes towards track a and track b charts separately

If a single is release as a double a side how would it chart

Has anyone else noticed that ed Sheerans cover of CITW is now an album-only song which means you can’t buy it individually, watch it plummet down the iTunes charts tomorrow, or it could just be a mistake

#Bring back Mark Goodier Or Play all of the top 40. 40-10 played with a bit of information on artists or singles which are huge climbers and new entries. Before top 10 announce new releases, played 10-3 (not 10-2) to make it more interesting for suspense and then played the number 2 then quick final rundown 40-2 with pick of the pops theme and then play 1 after calling the artist. And btw after 31 is played rundown of 40-31, and same for 30-21, 20-11, Like they used to do. And rundown of albums after number 21 and nothing I might have missed out, maybe with a bit of a modern twist

So glad paper planes is in the iTunes top 10 but what is the reason for this increase?

I think it was MUCH more interesting and am glad I am not the only one that has acknowledged that things have changed. In my mind around the end of 2015 was when this trend it stopped and the last preorder single to debut top 10 that I can remember was probably sigala with give me your love in summer 2016.
