  1. Don’t streams count towards both anyway? Towards the latest compilation and the original album?
  2. They’ve taken Fever off Kylie’s main Spotify page in the UK so now all the Fever singles in her top 10 have the single cover. You can still find the album if you search for it directly, it’s so odd it’s not on her page.
  3. In Your Eyes got 105,000 streams yesterday. Is this its highest streaming day?

Charlie XcX at no 1 and Kylie at no 3 in the albums.
  5. I’d be very surprised if this makes top 10 given that she hasn’t had a top 10 live album since Homecoming and this is only available through her store. I’d go for top 40 but happy to be proved wrong!

My Opalite vinyl has just been dispatched, so it could still be no 1.
  7. It’s only had 6k views in the last 6 hours. Clearly whatever deal they had with YouTube expired at the end of 2025 or people have completely stopped streaming Christmas music in 2026.
  8. XMAS holding up at no 5 on the midweeks today
  9. XMAS video now has 5m streams. I’m curious how it’s still doing so well 4 days after Christmas.
  10. They’re not even gonna play this weeks chart on radio 1. She’s got all the amazing publicity with the Christmas no 1 I doubt she cares any further.
  11. There’s a really detailed article about how it all came together here https://www.musicweek.com/talent/read/we-always-had-our-eyes-on-the-prize-inside-the-triumphant-kylie-christmas-no-1-campaign-for-xmas/093295
  12. Hot in December has been hanging around the top 40 iTunes chart in the U.K. for 2 weeks now without any push. I know it’s iTunes but it’s really unusual for a non single Kylie track to do that. I think they should push it next year.

Any longevity XMAS has in future years will purely depend on whether or not it’s playlisted. Playlisting impacts the Christmas charts even more than the usual chart.
  14. Wham did 758k streams yesterday, 140k more than Tuesday. I still don’t think they will beat Kylie but if they add another 15 to 16k on from today + estimated steams tomorrow it could be close.
  15. We will have a clearer picture later, but last week Wham did 2.75 times their Monday midweek for the final chart. Applying that to their midweek sales this Monday it would take them to 48k so I’d say that’s the minimum Kylie needs to do. It’s a bit frustrating as we don’t know if they’ve held back reporting sales for Kylie as they clearly did last week when the album sold an additional 3k at the last moment.
