  1. XMAS holding up at no 5 on the midweeks today
  2. XMAS video now has 5m streams. I’m curious how it’s still doing so well 4 days after Christmas.
  3. They’re not even gonna play this weeks chart on radio 1. She’s got all the amazing publicity with the Christmas no 1 I doubt she cares any further.
  4. There’s a really detailed article about how it all came together here https://www.musicweek.com/talent/read/we-always-had-our-eyes-on-the-prize-inside-the-triumphant-kylie-christmas-no-1-campaign-for-xmas/093295
  5. Hot in December has been hanging around the top 40 iTunes chart in the U.K. for 2 weeks now without any push. I know it’s iTunes but it’s really unusual for a non single Kylie track to do that. I think they should push it next year.
  6. iain posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Any longevity XMAS has in future years will purely depend on whether or not it’s playlisted. Playlisting impacts the Christmas charts even more than the usual chart.
  7. Wham did 758k streams yesterday, 140k more than Tuesday. I still don’t think they will beat Kylie but if they add another 15 to 16k on from today + estimated steams tomorrow it could be close.
  8. We will have a clearer picture later, but last week Wham did 2.75 times their Monday midweek for the final chart. Applying that to their midweek sales this Monday it would take them to 48k so I’d say that’s the minimum Kylie needs to do. It’s a bit frustrating as we don’t know if they’ve held back reporting sales for Kylie as they clearly did last week when the album sold an additional 3k at the last moment.
  9. So she’s no 3 on the app chart and no 4 on the website chart.
  10. No 23 in the midweeks, hopefully it will rise a bit with the Strictly exposure yesterday
  11. She’s still no 1 today in the midweeks
  12. XMAS extended and Instrumental now on Amazon
  13. Kylie was 6k away from the top 5 this week. I think she’s a lock for top 5 next week with the higher Amazon positions as well as the physicals and downloads. I have no idea about no 1 though! 01 42,470 Wham! - Last Christmas [80 CDs, 297 vinyl, 550 downloads, 41,543 streaming] [SCR: 84,013] 02 37,677 RAYE - WHERE IS MY HUSBAND! 03 36,135 Mariah Carey - All I Want for Christmas Is You 04 33,278 Brenda Lee - Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree [SCR: 66,305] [digital era total: 3,042,687] 05 27,739 Kelly Clarkson - Underneath the Tree 06 26,994 Olivia Dean - So Easy (To Fall in Love) 07 26,367 Olivia Dean - Man I Need [SCR: 52,104] 08 25,883 The Pogues feat. 14. No I think it has to do whether you access the charts through the app or through the website link. Could be something to do with premium subscriptions I’m not sure.
  15. There are 2 charts depending where you look, she’s no 8 on one and no 6 on the other.
  16. Day 6: Hot in December: 488,648 Office Party: 70,132 This Time of Year: 128,729 Is Hot in December on any playlists? It’s averaging around 81k a day, which isn’t far off from it’s day 1 streams.
  17. The test pressing isn’t included - I guess they sold out of it at the store.
  18. Sold out now. Personally signed items are great for fans but it’s probably only going to be a small number. If she really wants the no 1 this week she should just sign 1000 cds and stick them on Amazon.
  19. Personally signed cds and prints at Banquet! https://www.banquetrecords.com/kylie-minogue/kylie-christmas-%28fully-wrapped%29-%5Bpersonally-signed%5D/5021732948717SS
  20. XMAS up to no 24 in the Uk charts.
  21. 4,000 exclusive vinyls and 1,000 signed test pressings, each numbered.
  22. Apparently the pop up exclusive vinyl is purple.
  23. I guess the only really limited item will be the test pressing. Does anybody remember how much money the Tension test pressings were?
  24. That’s good, I don’t think it will stay top 20 but hopefully top 30
