It's odd that Sia is doing so well. It's essentially a slightly cleaned up version of a song that has been available for nearly a year, so I'm not sure why people are buying it.

It amazes me that radio can't see the potential of Million Reasons. I mean it gets a bit of promo and flies up the charts, always an indication that people actually like the song when they hear it. And yes, I know that X Factor is huge promo, but the impact it has on songs is completely varied (Alicia Keys, Emeli Sande, One Republic etc barely did anything after being on the show). The same happened when she did it on Carpool Karaoke and it went to no 1 on US iTunes.

Scars to Your Beautiful by Alessia Cara is currently no 99 and has just been c-listed by Radio 1 - is this a re-release? I think it could do really well in the new year with the right exposure.

I don't think the X Factor winner will be Christmas no 1. It may well be no 1 on iTunes, but streaming will slow it down hugely. I think it will probably be Black Beetle.

I was hoping that Rockabye would have a longer run at no 1. I guess Black Beatles could potentially get there next week.
