  1. Kylie's Santa Baby peaked at no 76. It must have sold loads of copies for that peak, as it keeps reappearing every Christmas.

Why are they so hung up on chart positions in the UK though? Problem by Ariana Grande didn't get to no 1 in the US, but it's hardly being labelled a flop.
  3. It's interesting how Sam Smith is holding up so much better than Ed Sheeran in the US.
  4. It's only one disc in the US I think
  5. Also interesting to see that Maroon 5 are holding on with It Was Only You. I expected it to drop quickly like other instant grat tracks
  6. It's not looking good for Union J, although I like them more than I like their music.
  7. I think that ship may have already sailed.
  8. I don't think it's over after 12 hours. 7 days is a long time.

Oh, my mistake! I was wondering...

It's going to have to be playlisted for a long time to keep the album around until Christmas...
  11. Sam Smith is very close to the no 3 song, and therefore will be very close to the no 1 song when the Ed Sheeran tracks drop.
  12. To be honest, other than a few people on this forum, most people don't care if a song on the iTunes chart can chart or not.

I have no recollection of this, though it seems unlikely.

You mean other than the no 1 single and the fact that the album has been top 10 on preorders for a while now?
  15. Strange that Brooklyn Baby has been released in the UK but not Ultraviolence .
  16. Did Ultraviolence (the song) briefly get released to iTunes on Wednesday? I'm sure I saw it on there when I woke up, but when I went to download it later it had disappeared, although it had full popularity bars.
  17. I guess Chandelier won't be an instant grat track then, when it's finally released
  18. iain posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Is Chandelier really a potential no 1? Radio stations aren't touching it. I guess its iTunes preorders is down to the video exposure
  19. I can see Pharrell hanging around for ages and selling loads over the course of the year.
  20. With Lana doing so well on pre-orders in the UK it seems mad that it is only out in a months time.
  21. Did anybody actually think Amelia Lily would be huge though? It seemed pretty evident to me that she was going to struggle to have another hit after You Give Me Joy.

Interesting that the George Michael album does not seem to be on Spotify. Not sure what impact this has on sales.
  23. Into the Blue reached its iTunes peak in Ireland (no 10) after the album was released on Friday, lets hope the same happens here.

She's doing it on Sports Relief next week, though the duet partner is a surprise.
  25. The top version of Into the Blue has disappeared from the Itunes chart on my phone completely now. Has it been deleted?
