The new song "love it when you hate me" is so catchy, so early 00's female pop rock it's delightful. Although, I am not going to lie, until this duet I had never heard of Blackbear... do I want to hear more?

Fair enough :heart: I think the song overall, just feels very basic. Some of their songs have a lot more “layers” to them. There’s just nothing at all I like about it and it saddens me that with some of their amazing hits, that’s the song that seemingly, they are remembered for and most likely to win this. I appreciate I’m in the minority but still.

Or… I just don’t enjoy the same songs you/others do maybe? ^_^

Releasing mid week was never going to help. But also, the best it can do is set up some good attention for the album to give her another top 10 album hopefully. It is enjoyable and much more early Avril which seems to be well received.
