Back in the mid 80’s they used to release the chart at 12.45 on a Tuesday. They played #5, #4, #3, #2 then a run down before the #1, used to be exciting and was always late for school on Tuesday afternoons!

Got every one physically since 1980 and loads earlier but have them all on some format or other🤪

6 weeks at #1 and no show in the top 100 for Positions!!

Because of OVER EXPOSURE! No sleepers, no growers just release after release in short periods of time...public need to grasp a sound, a shift in direction rather than just being hit by rapid releases...that's why!
