RW - 25 Years Of Hits Tour 2022/2023
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatHow many concerts did he do in 2023? 80 or something like that? he did the UK concerts 2022. Then it must be over 100 concerts. Amazing and it passed by that fast. I wonder if he will o South America in 2024 and if there will be a new album in 2024 if he will tour again 2025. Maybe stadiums....that is where he is best (for me).

RW - Netflix Documentary Series (2023)
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatStill something to look forward to with the movie next year and a new album he had originally planned for this year. I hope it will be a good one. I also hope that at one point of time he will work with Stephan Duffy again. Had listened to Intensive Care lately and it has many great songs. I realized that the songs I initially liked are still my favourites, e.g. Ghosts. When he opened the Berlin concert with this it looked amazing. I think it was 2005 and I only saw it after the Leeds concert in a re-run.

Robbie ' bits & pieces'
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatWonder if it is true or if they have picked words out of context. I also wonder how Ayda's fashion line does. I did not like many items in the beginning, but like the winter collection colours. I also wonder if she is doing the design herself or if someone is doing it for her.

Number one in 22 countries in the first week and number 2 in 13 more. It was even number 5 in Canada. Nothing in the USA. I think it ended woldwide with number 4 for the first week.

RW - Netflix Documentary Series (2023)
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI love the awards daily article. Leeds was the moment I became a fan when I saw it on television. So his horror moments have been still performing so great that I was hooked and I have never been a fan of someone befoe. And for everyone who has not seen Knebworth try to get the DVD (I don't know if you can download it entirely)

RW - Netflix Documentary Series (2023)
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatOne of the problems is that Rob never saw himself with high value. This makes it easy for anyone else to see it the same and worse. I still cringe when he is steadily putting himself down even if it is in a joke. I guess it makes him feel less vulnerable. He is great when he speaks serious about his music. I like Guy and his seemingly very serene way. As collaborateurs I love Stephan Duffy and Trevor Horn. I still think RKTVS is very under valued. And I also like the Aussie boys who have a more modern way.

RW - Netflix Documentary Series (2023)
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThere is quite a lot about the fall out in the book 'Feel' and there was far more to it than Come Undone, which for me is still one of his best songs and videos and live parts. Never took drugs but this can relate to so much more. When Rob and Guy met he was for sure his rock in musical reference to find a certain stability. But I can imagine that with time Rob got stronger and he realized that he was second in this partnership like he was in TT with Guy telling him what is good or not in musical taste. Like mentor to pupil where the mentor does not ealize that the pupil grew up. I also remember that Guy only got the mortgage for his big house back then by RW helping hi,. RW seems a bit of a bi-polar character though and I remember Josie in 'Nobody someday' saying that you make a mistake only once. I loved Intensive Care. Stephan Duffy gave Rob the opportunity to try out anything even instruments he did not play. I would love to have another Rob/Stephan album. I also like the two Australian lads as the style is fresh. Guy seems to have taken a break from RW again or vice versa or with both of them deciding it is time. And reading pats of the interview they must be very good friends or Rob must be in a very good place as some of it - if it happened or was only perceived this way - is not very flattering. This said, I wonder who is Rob's musical director in the moment.

elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatSome parts I have read already in a Guy interview, some are new. Seems strange to me in some parts either. Regarding the worldwide Netflix position: I never watch Netflix and usually also not the runs of shows/documentaries. Is this positioning good or not (more related to the number f days rather than the position).

RW - Netflix Documentary Series (2023)
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThis documentary will polarize, critics like The Guardian who have rarely been nice about him or TT, those who dislike him will dislike him more, the fans who have not known the details will love him more, and those who do know the details will defend him. Interesting will be the General Public and if they watch, which is most important. Rob needs to get back into the public eye - not the fan's eye - if he want to sell his next year movie and if he wants to stay relevant or become relevant again before he will be a legend in 15 years or so. He is no Beckham with few critics and many people who appreciate him. He is Robbie Williams and he is pop. This is different and he does nothing to change this. I hope that his mental health is strong enough to not get hurt. I do not want to see him lamenting about the reactions of the documentary in 5 years and how it hurt him. He would have and must know what he sold his soul to.

RW - Netflix Documentary Series (2023)
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take Thatthank you, Kathryn. Interesting to hear. On the less serious side I sometimes wonder that Robbie is getting away with swearing and less but still slippery remarks on stage. I also sometimes wonder that there has been no one from the past yet who has sued him for whatever. So i can understand your remark especially considering that some tabloids wonder about a kiss between Beckham and his daughter.

RW - Netflix Documentary Series (2023)
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI have seen two mentioning about the pop up, one in German television and one in Dutch television. I really hope that many people watch it and it will get as much attention as the Beckham documentary. I know none of those his director must have done like the one about Wham or was it about Andrew Ridgeley (sorry if I misspell the name). I cannot judge the attention in the UK as it would pull other European countries at least. Still when i scroll through the showbiz news it is the K's, Taylor and many British people of soaps or reality soaps I never heard of. Britney Spears had done it better in reference of 'sensation'. She went in with really this one head line about her abortion. Memories are selling like sliced bread and this will happen with her documentary either. We all can say that Rob is more sensitive etc. but when he decides to go the way for public discussions in times like these then i do not know if this sells enough aside to his fans. Laura, i was wondering if they show Teddy in the documentary? in the snippets her face was half visible. Did they show her when she comments or does she comment from the off o back to the camera?

RW - Netflix Documentary Series (2023)
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI was thinking about the abortion the other day and if it will be mentioned. If it would not happened Rob would have a 24 year old child now. I don't think that many people are aware about this and how it must have hurt. I remember I have read at least some interviews where Rob also said that he thinks this sometimes. Maybe he wanted to protect his children of now. On the other hand it is part of his scars. I also agree that there should be a balance in regard of Gary's behaviour in the band (he mentioned himself) causing at least some of Rob's later nastiness. All written in theory as I have not seen it yet and it might take a while as I do not have Netflix and won't get it for the documentary.

*NSYNC - Better Place
I agree with Laura. I also think that JT and N'Sync have lost quite some star power outside of the US. Not many know him as musician anymore and now he will be more interesting as the person in Britney Spears life. Rob had been huge everywhere aside the North American market untill TT came back 2006 so like Laura says this was a story with less interruption. Plus...Progress and the Flood had been really really good song/album

Take That - Brand New Sun
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take Thatwhy do you think, Kylie does os much better in still creating singles people like to hear even if they are not fans? I like that TT tries different styles, though the output is not what I would have wished for. Also despite being a huge Rob fan I cannot say that his choice of singles from his albums make an impact of me not to mention the wide public. I liked Mixed Signals which had no success and since then only his collaboration with the Struts. What are your thoughts as with Kylie we see that it can work

Take That - This Life
elisabeth1974 posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThere had been some posts with people discussing 'Windows' not charting well, while others explain that for legacy acts the album is the important release. I start to think that neither single nor album are really important as the sales cannot feed the artist(s). Both are only the hook for the tour.
