  1. I wonder if this is true. Sometimes I don't take what he says 1:1
  2. I cannot imagine what could have happened between Jonny and Rob to cut a bond entirely
  3. Maybe he will introduce new music during the tour? Hope dies last.
  4. I have rarely read something that jealous and rude like the Guardian reviewer of Rob's art. What is this guy thinking? Unbelievable.
  5. I always like the the combination of Walk on the wild side with the people setting in singing the dup-da- dup like on the Close Encounter tour
  6. Best robbie time in my opinion, even better than 2003 (which I only watched backward). For him it must have been horrible watching the documentary. For me Intensive Care was such a great album and still is and Stephen Duffy and Rob did great song writing.
  7. I wonder how everyone who had done such a great job for this movie feels about the public acceptance. It must be difficult. It is good that the reviews had been great though.
  8. I hope he sold well so that the stadiums are quite full. He needs a boost for his self assurance again.
  9. I loved the result they came up with: Intensive Care. Isn't he married to Claire?
  10. I wonder how many tickets he still have to sell in the places where he has not sold out yet :-(
  11. I understand where he is coming from. However, I wonder what he would feel if no one will ask for pictures anymore, especially a person like Rob whose self worth seems to be so very dependent on public recognition. I am also not a fan of so many posts about him having the mental problems, then he does the public rounds and tells that he never felt better. It is a cycle and I understand how deeply depression can catch you. Every person though needs to continue with his tasks every single day. Sometimes for me, I feel I have heart it too often.
  12. losers is great. Forgot about it and he naughty video :-). Yesterday I listened to 'The Days' from Avicii again. Reading the comments below it is interesting so few were aware that the voice is Rob. Love the song.
  13. I would add 'Ghosts' somewhere. I always liked it and still remember the performance of Rob in the velodrome in Berlin, the second time I saw him (on TV) after he Leeds live broadcast and then became a fan.
  14. I agree, Laura. Many artists who have been around long say that people want to hear the old songs only. Last I heard it from Bon Jovi. Also how painful it is when a new song is sung and everyone looks up the news on the mobile. When they are in their prime people try to learn the lyrics as fast as the songs are out. Older people have no tendency to do that (in most cases) and neither to vote in masses for the popstar of their heart when awards are given. If however songs of others make such a huge part of a concert it is difficult to sell this either. I still believe that the plan had been to put out the album in wake of the movie and with the movie not being successful he would have to do PR and this is nothing he could do with his mental health this year as he claims and not with the incredible amount of PR he did for the movie still taking its toll. The tour has the wrong timing as it looks so far. Still there are things going on which are linked so there might be no alternatives.
  15. I wonder if and why Edinburgh has not sold out :-(
  16. Despite the lack of success with the standard audience Better Man has kicked Robbie back into many people's memories
  17. Are there any further figures about online platforms/streaming etcetera?
  18. I think this has not even been on his list of to do's. I remember hopeium and the hotel. Now it is a collaboration with Mediamarkt for quite some time. This sounds not bad. And somehow it is music related, plus they speak about a world tour.
  19. I have no idea to create a thread but I think this is worth it MediaWorld, a leading player in the consumer electronics sector and part of the MediaMarktSaturn Group, has announced a three-year strategic partnership with international pop music icon Robbie Williams. The core of this agreement is the pan-European launch of “PEAQ by Robbie Williams”, an exclusive collection of audio products under the PEAQ brand, one of the Group’s proprietary brands. This collaboration is part of a broader context aimed at enhancing the visibility and growth of MediaWorld’s proprietary brands, which include KOENIC, ISY, OK. and, indeed, PEAQ. The agreement provides for the first release of products set for early July 2025. This date strategically coincides with the first stages of the European tour “Robbie Williams Live 2025”, which will start in May and will visit several countries where the MediaMarktSaturn Group operates, including Italy (Trieste, 17 July), Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland and Turkey. In addition to the product launch, the partnership will include a series of activations across all MediaWorld touchpoints and the creation of exclusive customer experiences, details of which will be announced soon. The first phase of the launch of the "PEAQ by Robbie Williams" collection will include six audio devices, distributed across the categories of headphones, speakers and soundbars. Each product was developed in close collaboration with the artist and his team. The design is distinguished by an elegant black finish, enriched by Robbie Williams' signature and a golden monogram logo with his initials. Robbie Williams' involvement was not limited to the aesthetic aspect: the artist actively participated in all phases of development, from audio tests to the definition of technical characteristics, up to the optimization of the final products. An expansion of the "PEAQ by Robbie Williams" range is already planned in a subsequent phase, following the initial launch in July. In Italy, the collection will be accessible both online, on the website www.mediaworld.it, and in 139 physical stores distributed throughout the country. This initiative perfectly aligns with MediaWorld's positioning as "Experience Champion" in the electronics market. The collaboration aims to merge the Group's technical expertise with Robbie Williams' taste and cultural influence. The project is part of a broader omnichannel strategy, aimed at consolidating the European leadership of MediaWorld and the MediaMarktSaturn Group and increasing the awareness of the PEAQ brand in the competitive Hi-Fi sector at a continental level. Vittorio Buonfiglio COO of MediaWorld, emphasizes: "We are thrilled with this exclusive partnership with Robbie Williams, an icon who is the perfect combination of music and innovation. At MediaWorld we are committed to listening and anticipating the passions of our customers, constantly observing market trends. This collaboration between Robbie and PEAQ represents a fundamental step in our evolution from a retailer to an omnichannel platform of services and solutions, an evolution that allows us to offer unique and personalized experiences to our customers. As Experience Champion, we want to connect people with their passions, and this partnership is a further confirmation of our commitment." Robbie Williams says: "Working with the PEAQ team has been an amazing experience and I have learned a lot about creating quality products at an accessible price. I am thrilled to launch this wonderful partnership. This is the beginning of a successful collaboration with PEAQ and I hope everyone enjoys the products as much as I enjoyed creating them with the MediaMarktSaturn Group." Francesco Sodano Marketing Director MediaWorld, explains: "The three-year partnership with Robbie Williams is not limited to a simple collaboration, but is part of a broad and structured marketing plan that includes a crescendo of omnichannel activations and initiatives dedicated to our customers and members of the MediaWorld CLUB. Experientiality is at the center of our Group strategies and we firmly believe that this partnership is the emblem of it. Robbie Williams, in fact, is not only a star appreciated at a global level, but a pop icon capable of intercepting a transversal target that overlaps perfectly with our current and potential customers. As already successfully demonstrated in the Gaming sector, with our increasingly important presence at Lucca Comics & Games, this initiative consistently reiterates our approach to passions in the musical sector. We want to offer our customers unique and engaging experiences, and the collaboration with Robbie Williams allows us to do so in an innovative and high-impact way."
  20. I still see a lot of Spanish tweets with the topic of Better Man movie in my timeline. South American people seem to love the film.
  21. I was thinking about the new songs and this article. Could it be that he had finalized the album already last year and they thought the movie would raise the profile of Rob in the USA plus give him more artistic freedom to be successful? So his songs had been more 'experimental' Robbie songs?. Now after this did not happen, he might have to replace certain songs for some which fit his core audience in Europe better? Or do I simply overthink this too much :-)?
  22. this is great, not realized it consciously but I love how the new forum is set up. Have I said lately how much I like to come here :-)?
  23. Still don't get it. I thought the album is recorded with all the hints of with whom Rob had collaborated from Chris Martin to Heavy Metal.
