  1. I see that wherever possible people try to get their old live back sometimes no matter what it might cost.....but agree Laura if he will do the album not as a UTR like tease only it will not happen this year. Unfortunately the year after everyone will go on tour.
  2. or is doing something preparing his new projects as he is relatively invisible
  3. well if he wants the movie to be a success I am not sure about the monkey
  4. I wonder about Robbie reading about Alistair Crowley..... quite a thing. He by the way lived in one of the Houses in the part where Robbie lives in London now.
  5. Why should Guy be involved, Laura? because he was part of the story or because of the music? I don't think that it will be all about music as a movie like that should also appeal to the Americans who might wonder about whose guys biopic this is. For that reason I believe that there will be quite some place for the mental health/drugs/ Better Man story
  6. I wonder if he will sell the London House too despite it might ne a good long term nvestment
  7. I think that he has achieved far less than he hoped. Number one fine, gold fine. But little to none promo in other countries Take That had been huge once. Neither they chart nor him. This is sad. Gold status is how many examples sold? 125K? I am not sure if he has chosen the right songs. If it would have been ballads he might have sold more. But at least he tries something and that is always good to see.
  8. I thought that Joss Stone was sweet. Is she still singing?
  9. Indeed, I read yesterday about some of the bands from the seventies, The Sweet, T-rex as I had seen some old shows from that time and wanted to check if they are still alive. What alcohol and drugs did and do to people. Rob may have ended like these guys with his depression in addition. He seems healthy and relaxed now and at the place he wants to be.
  10. Sweet Beau, happy birthday. I like the paintings of Rob. They are colourful and spreading a good vibe
  11. I am wondering if the non-Robbie fans with think 'what the hell? Art?" or if his originals - the huge paintings - would be considered as art also by those who would not buy only because it is Robbie
  12. Fully agree, this is something special of this situation. I am now working remote with my team since almost 10 months. But at least I am home. I could understand that they went there to access USA easier afterwards. However who want to be there now? I would not even dare to think about vacation. But I know that many especially younger people think different. Ayda is very silent on instagram. Maybe they want to avoid another annoyance or they are still not feeling well. I don't see them emerge in the next weeks either way.
  13. Well, Robbie had some live performances before Christmas....
  14. sure, but will he do this without the financial benefit?
  15. I read yesterday that Glastonbury is cancelled. I wonder if Rob will still do the rave album in spring as he likely will bot be able to continue with his plans of art plus DJing...if the vaccination is not changing everything
  16. This was amazing read, Alex. Thank you very much
  17. Thank you, Alex :-) I am always interested in the stats
  18. You are so right, Lundi. I somehow wait for a second coming of Robbie Williams. Like Tom Jones end nineties or Tine Turner mid eighties. He so deserves it as his musical inheritance is much better and huger than his critics will ever admit. But I still do not see that.
  19. Yep, Laura, but you are not a casual person who goes to a concert and listens to music. You are a 'fan' :-)
  20. Agree with you and I also think that he is no one to waste money nevertheless tries new things. And his mind is fast...I only don't think that the broad public who should buy the albums aside of the hardcore fans can follow him. You have a stamp. You saw it with TT taking risk the last years too: People do not want too much risk from 'their' popstars. The same is the case with Robbie. People (not the fans) want the Angels and Feel Robbie with a slight badboy touch and some sex (the reason being married costs him fans). I know very few stars if musician or actor who managed a turn around from the image which was imprinted in people's minds
  21. I read yesterday that UTR4 is planned for this year
  22. I love RKTVS, the best he looked for a long time and a long time after. Great songs, Electric Proms. good times. I also liked his way as a 'star' in that time than a lot of what he did the last years. I wonder what kind of 'crown' he has these days. I don't see Olly as a huge star. He might be in the UK, but lost his fans over here he mainly had in NL and Germany. Ed Sheeran can do no wrong, but also is beyond his peak and Sam is special. Robbie: in some parts he is a legend. In some magazine they spoke about people fainting and the commentor said "Robbie Williams" is used to it and it was a medical report. If you use these comparisons it shows that they assume people understand. (I also don't think that so many faint with Ed). But I also see that aside of some songs he had been too much mainstream than to be accepted as legend yet. They said in Holland when Ringo turned 80: He only is knighted late and got never the acceptance Paul and John had...as he was more acting as a clown. I sometimes feel that this is Robbies fate.
