  1. 8th week in home office. Normally I never check Rob stuff during the day, now I take sneaky looks in between. Yesterday we said good bye to a colleague who had resigned ...via video conference :-(
  2. I agree, the same in NL and Germany. Rob's songs a well feel songs (not all, but many). They also show regularly bits from his corona-oke sessions in TV. It is surprising that 30 years in business his actions are still worth a news. Some days ago his session with Gary made an entire article in one of Germany's most valued weekly broad sheets. The female thirtysomething author - I assume a TT and Rob fan - said that you could see why backthen Gary and Rob did not go on so well still now: Gary with conservative T-shirt and good haircut, Rob as if he just run away from jail (all funny and nicely meant) I like a bit of Robbie more than usual in these days
  3. Laura! How dare you to crash the party :-) if he would stick to the intervals you are right, but maybe he will bring out an album without PR just for fun like UTR? Well hope dies last :-)
  4. a disco album would reflect a tendency in music ..wonder if this will happen
  5. Rob is still so not political correct :-)
  6. She is Madonna is a much underrated song. Love it. Video was 'before its time'. I think if a young singer would have released Rudebox album these days it would be quite a success
  7. there was a report in the news about a 99 year old ex military who wanted to collect 1000 pounds by doing 100 loops in his garden and he collected 13 million. What a man, what an idea and what an appreciation for the NHS
  8. I like rooms under rather than over stuffed
  9. I listened to Intensive Care yesterday, still think that it is one of his best albums. I wonder what Stephen Duffy is doing these days
  10. great times, still love Progress
  11. do you remember SOS from Progress? The lyrics reflected a lot of what is going on in the world right now
  12. hello likes to write about them...nice
  13. People should think about the impact of what they are doing. This is not a game.
  14. we are in the third week of home office. Nl is handling this quite unpanicked. Some fear most people are simply coping. Germany is panicking. As we are an international team people are in fear for their families especially if they live in the South
  15. all schools closed in Germany, in the Netherlands the first next week, huge companies do home office. the peak in Europe is not reached yet they say
  16. Administrative staff are doing home office in the Netherlands to a huge extend. If you see the comparison to other epidemic deseases Corona does not even seems so scary. What is scary is the fast way in a short time it spread. Many people in the small country here are using public transport, where the likelihood to be infected is huge. I am wondering where this will head..
  17. I like all the American interviews. He would be perfect for a talk show host there.
  18. I still don't understand the Las Vegas thing. Is he paid a lump sum for the concerts? Are they satisfied with the sales as only half tickets are real sells and the rest is about the coupons or packages? How can they judge success?
  19. I thought how tall Teddy is when I saw the picture with her at the piano. And I like that the children never seem to be overdressed. It is good to be a child in the Williams household.
  20. I agree about the huge venue, Laura. It is quite difficult to say when and what makes someone or something successful. I see the Billie Eillish hype in the moment. Lady Gaga, Adele, Billie for the females and Rob, James Blunt, Ed, Lewis for the males? Then Justin Bieber drops an album and is very successful. Rob is in for the game since so long. I would still like him to be very successful. I mean, he is very successful. But sometimes I feel him not going down the 'legend' part of successful and not because of his songs, but because of his light entertainment behavior. I wonder in which direction he will spread his wings for the future. He admitted that his lifestyle costs money so he has to continue to work and to earn money. I don't see him earning appropriate within his 'old' venues though. Mmmmh, I am more worried than him :-)
