me too, Alex. However Germany has changed a bit the last years and is very into 'German' speaking and German provenience music. The number two spot is already a very good achievement there. Bit sad about Dutch performance :-( But Christmas is not that huge here :-)

She is very special and one of the most famous presenters with her own magazine in Germany, never PC so clearly she adores him. They know each other a long time, he once kissed her pregnant belly when he promoted Candy. As I had a surgery I could watch a bit more TV than usual and the lady presenters on the main TV programs in Germany could not tell enough how much they adore Rob. The other lady in the round in the talk show is a famous news magazine presenter and she was also star struck

I also think that the marketing using different media is much better than the last time And as much as I loved (still) Party like a Russian the choice for a lead single is much better. Today his promotion starts in Germany and I am sure at least next week he will be no 1 there too. He will have three days straight for promotion and then I see nothing live for few days. Maybe he will jump to Australia in that time? Very straining schedule.

It is interesting to follow twitter in the moment regarding Rob. He is so polarizing between totally ugly remarks which make me shudder (including 'may he had better died instead of Robin Williams') to unconditional love. One side he is crap, one side he is the best of the best. mymymy. I watched the original video of one of my most loved Rob songs yesterday 'come undone'. He came a very long way since then. Sometimes I really miss this bad boy. Then I know that he might be dead indeed if he had continued like this. Anyway, he is working hard for the promo of this album. This week the German promo will set in and as the Dutch people also look German TV we will see more of Rob here. I hope that he will achieve a number one in Austria, Germany Switzerland in the next weeks and so hope he will also have a number one in the UK.

I think that this is quite a lot considering it was November and not everyone was already in Christmas mode. Thanks for the update, Alex In Germany he is no 2 either as the lead singer of Rammstein beat him to place one. He will start the German promo next week. I don't know however how many albums he shifted. Maybe 15 - 20000 there? Do you know Alex?

I hope he will be place 2 and will continue steady sales to Christmas. The huge shows are still ahead and the nearer to Christmas the more people feel Christmassy. I also heard that his CD will be sold with Aldi as up today. Well, maybe no number one for the Christmas album, I had hoped for, but a big success nevertheless. What I wonder however is: There is no money in album sales aside you sell Adele's amounts. If you don't tour - which he will not do for a Christmas album - where is the money then with this album?

I was wondering about the sales figures either, also the ones of Coldplay are not high. He should make the number 2 spot though as Rod was a lot of sales back in the beginning of the week. No idea that the 1D's still sell well as solo artists considering what I saw of Liam and Louis. Anyway, Rob will have achieved the goal that he will sell every year at this time. I like the album. It is a feel good album and so is the video of Times for change. One question you might have an idea about. Rob has spread his promotion wings to Amazon, Apple, Aldi etc which I think is a great idea. How does it work during promo? Does the management have to pay that they use RW and work with them or do they pay RW to be his partners?
