Do you think there might be a disco/dance album this year or next? I read some comments on FB. Rob must have spoken about a project within his coronaokes

This is really sweet. I like Liam's tweet and I hope that Rob will stop his 'feud teases' even if it is only banter. Carry on and make a charity single together :-)

I am not sure if I missed something but isn't it a short set list? Do we assume that Rob will sing on all TT songs, or only the 4 he had been involved in from TT first time around and TT Progress time?

I think that the article might we typical tabloid style, but that there is a core of truth. He is a realist when it comes to business. he knows that the imperial days are over. He might have a hit here and there again like the oldies often have some years in. However, he also knows that despite his long career he is not on the legend level. He was always too mainstream for that. To keep it going he has to explore new fields and he has the connections, the ideas if it is Simon Cowell or John de Mol and also the financial connections and connections to the studios. If he wants it he can do it. The idea must be good. I saw a bit of this podcast with the ex-army whatever he stands for guy (part 2) when Rob told him that he still worries about money and that he is striping away what is not important to have 'I am still this guy from Stoke'. Good move, however interesting to hear from a guy who is worth 185 million pounds according to the Sunday Times Rich list 2020. I think that there is something about what I read about one of once Germany's richest men (Friedrich Flick): he always feared to loose his billions and the more you are not born in it the more this is the case.

I had an alert yesterday about the new Sunday Times Rich list musicians. Rob is listed there with 185million pounds (who knows the correct figures). Anyway he added 10 million in 2019. He had the Christmas album, but I think aside of Hyde Park there were no huge concerts. They expect most musicians income will fall flat this year. I wonder about this either, he cannot even do concerts for billionaires (neither can others)

you know the problem with working from home is that you loose any sense of time especially if companies are international and you work with Asia and the US. Fridays the team of about 25 people have a team meeting which started - go on mute - in the past. Now everyone knows :-). You hear the cats, the dogs, the children and too be allowed this general remark in the Robbie and TT thread, at least I can have the music in the background :-)

I only watched the beginning. Rob said that his family goes through a difficult time. If I understand correct he said that his father (!) has Parkinson and his mother in law is very ill. I thought that Gwen had Parkinson? Maybe I did not understand well. And Janet will be 80 soon

this was one of the best corona-okes. I never have time and patience to watch it entirely, this one I did, songs I like a lot and are underrated like She is Madonna and some interesting facts about his solo career. And I learned about how you pronounce Ibiza in English. I always said it somehow Dutch and wondered about what island he was talking :-)

8th week in home office. Normally I never check Rob stuff during the day, now I take sneaky looks in between. Yesterday we said good bye to a colleague who had resigned ...via video conference :-(

I agree, the same in NL and Germany. Rob's songs a well feel songs (not all, but many). They also show regularly bits from his corona-oke sessions in TV. It is surprising that 30 years in business his actions are still worth a news. Some days ago his session with Gary made an entire article in one of Germany's most valued weekly broad sheets. The female thirtysomething author - I assume a TT and Rob fan - said that you could see why backthen Gary and Rob did not go on so well still now: Gary with conservative T-shirt and good haircut, Rob as if he just run away from jail (all funny and nicely meant) I like a bit of Robbie more than usual in these days

Laura! How dare you to crash the party :-) if he would stick to the intervals you are right, but maybe he will bring out an album without PR just for fun like UTR? Well hope dies last :-)

She is Madonna is a much underrated song. Love it. Video was 'before its time'. I think if a young singer would have released Rudebox album these days it would be quite a success
