no, but times change, I have the feeling and he gets older. What people thought was funny around 2002 with a 26 year old Rob is different than 2019 with a 44 year old Rob who has three kids. I don't mind as I think people will do what they do and his fans will understand and laugh, but if he ever hopes to get an OBE....only joking.

what I heard until now did not convince me. I don't think that this is an age thing as I loved and love Avicii's collaboration with Rob some years ago. I am wondering if there will be a video and if the EDM fans/mainstream can like this or if it is one of the collabs legend status popstars (almost) do and which will be forgotten fast, until there is THAT hit again. I remember when I suddenly heard Tom Jones in the end nineties with Sexbomb and everyone liked it.

This 'news' with Rob blasting out Black Sabbath had been mentioned all over the papers in Holland and Germany AND in TV magazines. I received endless alerts. This is somehow funny and both cannot deny the publicity this gives them....right or wrong

I liked the times when Rob worked with Stephen Duffy. I still like Intensive Care. Ghosts was always a favourite of mine

Agree Syd, I heard a snippet too and I had hoped for something else. I loved the collaboration with Avicii some years ago. This sounds strange to my ears, but maybe this is the reason it might be a hit then :-)

Hugh Jackman did say that he wants a collaboration with Rob, as did Adam Lambert. If they had been serious this should be no problem then.

I was wondering, too. But I can imagine it as it fits the time plan: Bob Sinclair single, UTR3, Las Vegas, one or two guest performances with TT, Soccer Aide, Hyde Park, Las Vegas, x-factor also as platform to promote his album....and an income of several millions

Interesting, isn't it? Everyone has this fate. All the major acts still filling stadiums but do not get hit singles anymore. The usual time at the top is between 6 and 8 years, probably shorter. Coldplay is a bit of an exception. And collaborations like JT is doing them. Rob has always been Special. I have read through some old concert critics (Cologne 2001, the tour 2003) yesterday. "There are people with more and bigger hits. But no one is as charismatic on stage" was one quote. I agree.

Yes, and it will be published end 2019 under Sony I understand. But it is the last one if the information is right. I don't know if Sony had a short term deal anyway with him. I don't remember.

I am not even slightly interested in these kind of Instagram posts. I could not relate to the talks last year and less this year with the smoking bits (wonder if this is part of the WW deal). What fan I am :-( ?

we have a discussion in the moment in a RW FB group about a remark he made on Upfront. Seemingly his next album will be with Sony and then he is a free agent. Does one of you remember about how many albums the contract has been? Do you think it is possible that Sony cancelled the contract because of the quite disappointing sales figures of THES. I learned that they do not participate in the huge profit of the tour.
