Milly, what about a TT documentary only about Gary? I think this will be appropriate. This boredrop Jason, this solo artist behaviour of Rob who just soldout 48 stadiums and some nice Las Vegas concerts, this backing singer Mark and backing dancer Howard. Iwould make it about Gary as Gary is TT. No- I am not serious :-)

I am not sure if I would like those extremes. I have grown up being very food and health conscious. My father was a diabetic and there was always a problem if he ate something he shouldn't. But I also learned that being conscious does not mean to deny yourself everything. The balance comes natural. I see a lot of steadily dieting youth friends and they never have lost this habit and the yo-yo effect. It is a lot about what you learn when you grow up. He needs to learn to have a balance he likes. His body looks hot in the moment, but he looks also very pale.

we have company closure, but as we also have years end some unlucky have to work. Fortunately we can work from home as they will reduce the heating in the office.

I think RKTVS is an underrated album and I love Bodies

It is not my opinion about Gary's political opinion. I am Dutch and I can only judge it from the distance. But as I am a fan of Rob in particular and TT in general if they are at least 4 and best 5 I read a lot of British articles about them and the comments about the guys. Most are neutral to Mark and Howard these days, Robbie is polarizing since decades, Gary is appreciated as his voice is great. But as a person a lot of people dislike his tax issue more than with other people. This influences the opinion of the General Public, not of TT fans I guess. Once again I speak about the sales in the UK as in Europe no one knows or cares who is not a real fan. Musicwise I think indeed that Jason is missed a lot, far more than Robbie. TT4 worked. I loved the Circus. But I miss the Rule the World, the Said it all the Flood style. And Milly, there is no subtle dislike of someone. I like Robbie and Gary together these days. I am not a huge fan of Gary solo. But this is simply one taste of many we have here. I think though it is nice to have a good discussion aside the FB pages where you would not like to enter some TT sites with the hate of some against Rob, while the group made their piece.

Take That have been a UK (almost) only act since especially after Progress. Boy or Manbands do not sell well in the rest of Europe. It is not down to them only. The music taste is different. Robbie maintained his solo fanbase in Europe different to the UK more than TT. He sells out stadiums still. Progress was the unification all time height. Gary never sold well in Europe. And in the UK in the comments on FB, Newspapers etc (aside of the usual hate comments every public figure gets) you see that his political direction and the tax issue hurt his image. Robbie coming and going makes some people happy, some unhappy as you also realize in the comments even in this thread. But what really took mojo away is Jason leaving. And the miss of huge ballads. However, as long as they sell tours, even if it is for the live moment rather than TT - it is good for them as it pays millions in their wallets. In 10 years there might be a full reunion and then the Progress effect will set in again

fantastic in the UK, great sales and I assume they will continue with the promotion ahead. Still surprised about how bad the position aka sales are in any other country aside Ireland. The copies sold even with a number 18 in Germany are about 5,000 (?). That is why the venues they booked are so small in general outside the UK. it will be a great run in the UK though.

with UTR3 out in February do you think that there will also be a 'huge' album at the end of the year? I can imagine that he will do x-factor again - proper- in 2019 and the album will be out 2020 with another tour 2021. What do you think?

Interesting article. THey will continue sell great as there is a lot of TV coverage ahead. But you have to put things in perspective. NOt knowing a lot about the music business I assume that all the successful albums/songs this year aside of TT are heavy on downloads/streaming. I would be interested how many albums are sold in the rest of Europe. They will always be a national treasure in the UK. Seeing them on breakfast TV in Germany this morning the commentor was full of memories. But I wonder if people buy the album
