This is interesting. I never understood why there are those artists who are considered as art and others are simply plain. I always loved when Rob was ending Come undone with Walk on the wild side. For me both are incredible songs and Wotws is special with the lyrics and lou Reed singing it. Some days ago I read that Lou Reed hated the artists from the West Coast as he thougt they betrayed real music in favour of commerce. I think these kind of attitudes are strange. By the way I listened to Last days of Disco the other day. What a great song and how great are the lyrics.

Agree with you, Alex and Laura. I think TTC was a great album with really interesting lyrics. I wonder how the new album will sound like. I also wonder about his plannings: A lot of art, the few concerts in summer, the new album in autumn, the new biography in December and the movie end December? Coming back to the Brits, I hope he will get one day a Brit again for his music and not for being whatever icon or legend status.

will he ever win one again? i guess, not. since years I do not know most of the winners and nominees.

Unfortunately not as I live quite far away from Amsterdam, if you call anything in the Netherlands 'far'. The last exhibition i have seen was Alexander the Great in Amsterdam. But I think this one I will give a go and enjoy a weekend in that beautiful city.

Did he do a private concert in Dubai? It is very quiet considering that he ill be 50 in to days. If Ayda's Instagram is something to go by they are in Switzerland.

I still wonder about the connection between Rob and Ayda and the Bezos level of people and those who love to see their faces around billionaires. I guess they had been invited by T.Hilfiger of whose yacht they spend already vacations last year.

I believe only what I see. If all what he had promised coming 'soon' or 'coming' would have been done, then thee would be far more to talk about rather than inklings and whatever fills the time. Rob's/his management time planning is very stretchable :-)

Happy new year to everyone. I hope it will be a good one, healthy and successful and less worrying than 2023. Robbie-wise I am looking forward to what he does or will not do. I think the movie will be out this year and I really wish it to be successful. Will there be a new album? Will there be a tour 2025 for the album? Will he sing with Teddy? How ill Lufthaus continues and which of his many side projects will take place? I am curious and isn't it great that he still can make us curious after such a long time in the business?

I wonder what you think: There are some articles and a picture about Rob's dad who is spending his Christmas alone with Phil Taylor providing him breakfast and keeping him company. It is known that Pete is suffering Parkinson and I can imagine that he is not able to fly even in a private jet. Nevertheless for me it feels strange that Rob did not somehow manage to spend some time with Pete (as it seems also not before) with the possibility that this is his last Christmas. Sounds somewhat not right for me even if Pete would not want it different (or say so).

great, Alex. i hope it will be a lot of people who have interest after the documentary, which seemed to have touched quite a lot of people. I have not seen it yet. The concert is maybe his 50 year birthday celebration plus movie plus new album :-)

How many concerts did he do in 2023? 80 or something like that? he did the UK concerts 2022. Then it must be over 100 concerts. Amazing and it passed by that fast. I wonder if he will o South America in 2024 and if there will be a new album in 2024 if he will tour again 2025. Maybe stadiums....that is where he is best (for me).

Still something to look forward to with the movie next year and a new album he had originally planned for this year. I hope it will be a good one. I also hope that at one point of time he will work with Stephan Duffy again. Had listened to Intensive Care lately and it has many great songs. I realized that the songs I initially liked are still my favourites, e.g. Ghosts. When he opened the Berlin concert with this it looked amazing. I think it was 2005 and I only saw it after the Leeds concert in a re-run.

Wonder if it is true or if they have picked words out of context. I also wonder how Ayda's fashion line does. I did not like many items in the beginning, but like the winter collection colours. I also wonder if she is doing the design herself or if someone is doing it for her.

People who meet him always say how humble he is. This is a great feature for anyone and even more for a star.

there was a great overview in one Facebook group. Number one in 22 countries in the first week and number 2 in 13 more. It was even number 5 in Canada. Nothing in the USA. I think it ended woldwide with number 4 for the first week.
