this is more than they often give to his music. I am so curious how this movie will do

I often do not even read the stories anymore. They are good in some ways, but we are in general interested in new music. ould not make any sense during the Olympics and summer months I guess. It will be first the movie and then the album. He cannot promote both at the same time and the movie's promotion will start in September

What do you think the pre promotion of the biopic will start? Do you think the album will be out before or afterwards which would mean 2025? Any magic glass ball ideas?

I think he is simply bored. Honest, I would also appreciate some music and news about the album. It was ready for 2022, 2023, 2024 is already in the 5th month and I know that it is all planned because of the movie. Today I thought if it is worth that you ink a contract where the big movie companies will promote your film. On the other hand you starve with the real job. If they decide 2024 it will be December 2025 then we will wait another year and if they don't get the movie out at all we will not get a proper album? I don't hope so. As much as I like the inklings, some are very good, many comments I have stopped reading, bad me.

oh and I think it is great that they do play new songs as most artists would take it save

There are not so many countries TT are touring the last album made a huge impact aside Germany I think. Also the last albums and solo efforts had been average or none charting. So I think they tor to tour the legacy. It will be interesting to see if they will have many new tracks outside the UK. There the album sold very well. All news I hear of TT in the Netherlands and Germany is referring to the 90ties success, not even to Their comeback album 2006 which charted well in many countries or Progress which also charted well. I also see that they are touring quite smaller venues outside the UK then in the past. Has someone an overview to how many people they would have played status now at the end of the tour if all venues would be sold out?

© Provided by SA People British musician Robbie Williams will be returning to South Africa in early 2025 for Calabash South Africa. However, confirmation of the news on Monday left a number of fans upset. Organisers of the music festival confirmed at the same time that Calabash South Africa would now be taking place over two days in both Cape Town and Johannesburg. That represents a change from this year’s event which was a one-night affair in both cities. Williams will headline what is now Night 1 in both Johannesburg (18 January 2025) and Cape Town (22 January 2025). The remainder of the acts on Night 1 will be announced in due course. As previously announced, rock band Green Day will headline what is now Night 2 on 19 January 2025 in Johannesburg and 23 January 2025 in Cape Town. Additional acts for Night 2 include The Offspring and Fokofpolisiekar. Fans who rushed out last month to buy tickets for what they assumed was to be the only night in both Johannesburg or Cape Town, will now have to purchase a second ticket if they wish to watch Robbie Williams perform live. Ticket prices for the popular event run into thousands of rands. Tickets for Night 1 will go on sale on Friday, 12 April on the Ticketmaster website. Tickets for Night 2 are already available for purchase. https://www.msn.com/en-us/music/news/robbie...025/ar-BB1lhgrD maybe there ill be South America 2025 at the end, too?

This is interesting. I never understood why there are those artists who are considered as art and others are simply plain. I always loved when Rob was ending Come undone with Walk on the wild side. For me both are incredible songs and Wotws is special with the lyrics and lou Reed singing it. Some days ago I read that Lou Reed hated the artists from the West Coast as he thougt they betrayed real music in favour of commerce. I think these kind of attitudes are strange. By the way I listened to Last days of Disco the other day. What a great song and how great are the lyrics.

Agree with you, Alex and Laura. I think TTC was a great album with really interesting lyrics. I wonder how the new album will sound like. I also wonder about his plannings: A lot of art, the few concerts in summer, the new album in autumn, the new biography in December and the movie end December? Coming back to the Brits, I hope he will get one day a Brit again for his music and not for being whatever icon or legend status.

will he ever win one again? i guess, not. since years I do not know most of the winners and nominees.

wow, this sounds exciting, real honour

This one is difficult :-)

Unfortunately not as I live quite far away from Amsterdam, if you call anything in the Netherlands 'far'. The last exhibition i have seen was Alexander the Great in Amsterdam. But I think this one I will give a go and enjoy a weekend in that beautiful city.

Huge coverage here in the Netherlands. I admire him for this project

Did he do a private concert in Dubai? It is very quiet considering that he ill be 50 in to days. If Ayda's Instagram is something to go by they are in Switzerland.

he looks very proud

I still wonder about the connection between Rob and Ayda and the Bezos level of people and those who love to see their faces around billionaires. I guess they had been invited by T.Hilfiger of whose yacht they spend already vacations last year.

I believe only what I see. If all what he had promised coming 'soon' or 'coming' would have been done, then thee would be far more to talk about rather than inklings and whatever fills the time. Rob's/his management time planning is very stretchable :-)

Happy new year to everyone. I hope it will be a good one, healthy and successful and less worrying than 2023. Robbie-wise I am looking forward to what he does or will not do. I think the movie will be out this year and I really wish it to be successful. Will there be a new album? Will there be a tour 2025 for the album? Will he sing with Teddy? How ill Lufthaus continues and which of his many side projects will take place? I am curious and isn't it great that he still can make us curious after such a long time in the business?

I wonder what you think: There are some articles and a picture about Rob's dad who is spending his Christmas alone with Phil Taylor providing him breakfast and keeping him company. It is known that Pete is suffering Parkinson and I can imagine that he is not able to fly even in a private jet. Nevertheless for me it feels strange that Rob did not somehow manage to spend some time with Pete (as it seems also not before) with the possibility that this is his last Christmas. Sounds somewhat not right for me even if Pete would not want it different (or say so).

Merry Christmas to everyone

I also thought that there will be something Teddy will be involved in in the coming year. She looks cute and I bet that she is smart too which is even more important.

great, Alex. i hope it will be a lot of people who have interest after the documentary, which seemed to have touched quite a lot of people. I have not seen it yet. The concert is maybe his 50 year birthday celebration plus movie plus new album :-)

Isn't Knebworth near London?

Was there written where it is? I wondered yesterday, but somehow did not see this anywhere
