This. I couldn't agree more. I think this is why Taylor Swift does so damn well. Yeah, she has good songs (whilst I'm not a fan, I do agree she has great pop songs).. and I do also think that she is a good singer. But; I don't think she actually has a good voice! (Does that make sense?!) So yeah, Bad Blood has had the most TV/Radio airplay so far this year (Source: some lady on MTV News).. and that's probably why she's so successful. Most people probably don't like her, but her songs have THAT much airplay, we're just conditioned to like them!

Very good point! It was an AM Exclusive wasn't it! I'm going to go take a look now at how many he got.. it'll be interesting just how many it was. Especially with Zane Lowe playing it 3-4 times an hour on Beats 1. EDIT: Just took a look at last weeks sales, "#36 Pharrell Williams 4,830 sales". - So, if this was streaming only last week.. that's 483,000 streams on just this track. Interesting considering 'House Every Weekend' had a total of 1,706 streaming points (170,600 streams).

Missing? As in, wasn't included in the chart - or just didn't specify what the contribution was?

I've just found this link from the OCC website.. It mentions that streaming is on the up in 2015. But doesn't specifically mention if/or if not its counted.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've posted here, and I can't seem to find anything about it. So, with the introduction of Apple Music in the UK - I'm wondering if we're seeing any increase in streaming points in the charts? If it all, because I'm unsure if this information is collected? - It's an exciting time for music with our Chart moving to Friday to coincide with World Release Day and Apple Music is a world service, so I'm wondering if it's being reported. Apple have an investors call later this month, and I'm sure Tim Cook and the gang might announce a few details about it all.. It wouldn't surprise me if it's fast becoming the most popular streaming service in the UK/World.. so I'm wondering what the affect is on the UK Chart? (Providing we have this data) ((I'm thinking that because we're all in the midst of a free trial, that it might not be reported)). Thanks!

Physical sales? Well, I have my CDs. And I also have my Barcodes. So would it be possible to just put in these Barcodes into the Barcode thing within Amazon. And they will count? ALSO.. - What does AFAIK mean?

Amazon.co.uk - I believe that Digitally, downloads do not count to the Official Sales Chart. But how about Physical CDs? Do they count? And do they take submissions? Or would I sell my CD using my CATco/GTiN Barcodes? Thanks.

Ok so say, just being really hypothetical.. I managed to get Number 41 on the Official Charts. But with enough airplay, I could possibly up a place/(s) depending on my Airplay? Is this counted by all the local stations around the UK? Or just certain ones? Cheers.

If it's one thing I have learnt from reading Simon Cowells Auto-Biog. It's him having stats under his name. Obviously the money doesn't interest him, he's got enough. But him having another x amount of sales under his name. And possibly another Number 1. It's what he wants, which is fair enough, who wouldn't want it. But I think him having the Number One on his tally chart, means more to him, than it actually getting to Number 1 if that makes sense.

How many sales are their within the iTunes Chart. I'm led to believe that iTunes consists around 30% of Sales. So that means, hypothetically KoL (21/09/08) sold.. say... 17,000 on iTunes? But in terms of their being 100 Top Songs on the Chart. When we get 100 Songs down. How many sales would it be down there?

Wow! - Amazing.. I'm actually surprised at Lies.. Tried singing Lies, and as a singer, it's a bloody difficult song to do. Madd Maxx video? I think so. hahaha. They could of done a better video, but I suppose it's the song that does actually matter. So far, it's fair to say, they have kept the best songs off the free album. Let's hope that applies to the rest of them! I shall be buying it! - And Lies is out this week, with Acoustic versions of other unreleased tracks.. LETS INVEST! haha.

How are these obtainable? Like, I know how I can just look on a CD I have bought. But I how do a get one of these myself? I own ISRC Codes for Downloads, but how can I get my own Barcoded Tracks? Thanks.
