Thanks for that! But, I can’t seem to find the link you’re referring to.. sorry! Who’s post is it?

Any update on Danny Jones - Is This Still Love at all?

Really enjoyed this mornings GH show with Jordan North! Some great music, and some genuinely funny bits from Jordan!

Are Fall Out Boy missing any data? Or did they get 16k in pre-Sale and no one else has bought it since? Just a few hundred copies between the two updates is odd :\ Nice to see The Greatest Showman keep similar sales! But I’d like FOB at #1 or its three #2’s in a row since the return after their hiatus.

    Come on FOB!

Judging by Harry Styles' sales this week, it could be some clever positioning of programming for an extra week of sales perhaps? Hopefully it'll give him enough sales tonight after 8pm to push him after 100k... then instantly hit the ground running for next week!
  7. Kelly? What's the reasoning behind the album title does anybody know? I can't seem to find anything from Google/Wikipedia. :)
  8. Ah yes. James Masterton was talking about this in his w/e 23rd July podcast. Saying that Apple Music hasn't reported streaming points in the 2 out of 2 Thursday's it's been around. iTunes has never had a problem reporting this.. so maybe Apple Music uses a different backend; or hopefully they'll get it right this time.
  9. You know when missing data occurs (same with Spotify).. what actually happens to the data? Is it gone forever, or [if possible] do the OCC try and get it before the Friday and just incorporate it on the next update?

  11. I'm quite the 5SOS fan. But I'm not overly keen on this new single. Sounds a little too similar to 'Teenagers' by My Chemical Romance. Whilst I'm not down crediting their writing ability (John Feldman who co-writes with them has wrote some great tracks).. I just think it was wrote in a very short space of time. Not rushed, just too quickly. Apple Music has promoted it a little, so they'll probably be able to squeeze 4-7k steaming points out of it I guess.
  12. This. I couldn't agree more. I think this is why Taylor Swift does so damn well. Yeah, she has good songs (whilst I'm not a fan, I do agree she has great pop songs).. and I do also think that she is a good singer. But; I don't think she actually has a good voice! (Does that make sense?!) So yeah, Bad Blood has had the most TV/Radio airplay so far this year (Source: some lady on MTV News).. and that's probably why she's so successful. Most people probably don't like her, but her songs have THAT much airplay, we're just conditioned to like them!
  13. I honestly don't know what you're trying to say here. Give your post a quick edit and make the post a little easier to read. (No sarcasm intended either)

    haha. What was the question?

Very good point! It was an AM Exclusive wasn't it! I'm going to go take a look now at how many he got.. it'll be interesting just how many it was. Especially with Zane Lowe playing it 3-4 times an hour on Beats 1. EDIT: Just took a look at last weeks sales, "#36 Pharrell Williams 4,830 sales". - So, if this was streaming only last week.. that's 483,000 streams on just this track. Interesting considering 'House Every Weekend' had a total of 1,706 streaming points (170,600 streams).

Missing? As in, wasn't included in the chart - or just didn't specify what the contribution was?

I've just found this link from the OCC website.. It mentions that streaming is on the up in 2015. But doesn't specifically mention if/or if not its counted.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've posted here, and I can't seem to find anything about it. So, with the introduction of Apple Music in the UK - I'm wondering if we're seeing any increase in streaming points in the charts? If it all, because I'm unsure if this information is collected? - It's an exciting time for music with our Chart moving to Friday to coincide with World Release Day and Apple Music is a world service, so I'm wondering if it's being reported. Apple have an investors call later this month, and I'm sure Tim Cook and the gang might announce a few details about it all.. It wouldn't surprise me if it's fast becoming the most popular streaming service in the UK/World.. so I'm wondering what the affect is on the UK Chart? (Providing we have this data) ((I'm thinking that because we're all in the midst of a free trial, that it might not be reported)). Thanks!

Just added up the 4 weeks of sales for Brookstein.. 960,380! Just 40k away from the Million?! Does anybody know if the single reached 1Million?! :D

Any update on new entries in the midweek? 'Twenty Twenty' have a single out, who are unsigned but vastly popular. Would be interesting to see if they've charted.

Physical sales? Well, I have my CDs. And I also have my Barcodes. So would it be possible to just put in these Barcodes into the Barcode thing within Amazon. And they will count? ALSO.. - What does AFAIK mean?
  22. JamieGilder posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Amazon.co.uk - I believe that Digitally, downloads do not count to the Official Sales Chart. But how about Physical CDs? Do they count? And do they take submissions? Or would I sell my CD using my CATco/GTiN Barcodes? Thanks.

    AGREED!!

You know, I'm not too sure if they will count that much. With the gig probably finishing at 10//11 - Then everyone has to get home and actually download the track for it too count. Hmmm - I think most sales, may pass over to next weeks chart. Because in fact, I'm going to the Liverpool Gig on Saturday, and I'll text in just for good measure. I just really hope that they don't break the record, 14 consecutive Top 10's. Hmmmm... Not looking good! --Also Mart!n, (and *Ben*) - Could you just clarify my question from last night? About the sales further down in the chart? - But from Sundays totals? Thans Ben for the 250 copies that you told me about, but if someone could tell me what 200 or maybe 100 usually makes every Sunday? Would be awesome! My song is coming out on Pre-Order Xmas week. So everyone is buying my song for Pre-Order for a xmas gift for me! haha. (Hopefully all 4 version inc. B-Sides) - ((Saves them spending a £5!)) But yeah, it would be an achievement in itself if I instantly go in on the actual release week, then instantly drop out. IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE!? haha - thanks.

Hey Martin, here's a really good question for you. Whats the lowest position you have, with some form of sale next to them? Maybe, Number 100, with just a 1,000 copies sold or something? Would really help! - Thanks.
