'Bored of You' - Is the title of a song of mine. A) If this reached the Top 40. Would it be in the Radio 1 playlist do you think? B) Music video? I know this a little off topic, but the VH1 Top 40 Countdown, (It's on today actually at 5) - How would it be played on there? Who would I give this song/video too? For it to be played. Cheers.

Ok so say, just being really hypothetical.. I managed to get Number 41 on the Official Charts. But with enough airplay, I could possibly up a place/(s) depending on my Airplay? Is this counted by all the local stations around the UK? Or just certain ones? Cheers.

Does anyone know how each chart is compiled? And what is the difference? - And most importantly, what is more important?

haha - Good Point! Didn't mean it like that, it's just that, I'd like to try and get that little bit more attention by getting in the iTunes Chart. But the number of sales is just.... Psshhhhh.. Mind Boggling - At the best educated guess. I couldn't give a decent prediction. HELP!?

If it's one thing I have learnt from reading Simon Cowells Auto-Biog. It's him having stats under his name. Obviously the money doesn't interest him, he's got enough. But him having another x amount of sales under his name. And possibly another Number 1. It's what he wants, which is fair enough, who wouldn't want it. But I think him having the Number One on his tally chart, means more to him, than it actually getting to Number 1 if that makes sense.

How many sales are their within the iTunes Chart. I'm led to believe that iTunes consists around 30% of Sales. So that means, hypothetically KoL (21/09/08) sold.. say... 17,000 on iTunes? But in terms of their being 100 Top Songs on the Chart. When we get 100 Songs down. How many sales would it be down there?

Any info on McFLY!? Lies being in it's 4th week. - Surely it's still not up their? How about the Album? No more signings this week. So not hardly as many sales I bet. But it's a shame, for a good album, which will probably drop a good 20 places I think.

Wow! - Amazing.. I'm actually surprised at Lies.. Tried singing Lies, and as a singer, it's a bloody difficult song to do. Madd Maxx video? I think so. hahaha. They could of done a better video, but I suppose it's the song that does actually matter. So far, it's fair to say, they have kept the best songs off the free album. Let's hope that applies to the rest of them! I shall be buying it! - And Lies is out this week, with Acoustic versions of other unreleased tracks.. LETS INVEST! haha.

haha - Good post! - Well, I'm a Pro Account holder on IndieStore, and everything above that you have mentioned I'm doing. But that 'Free' thing, does sound interesting, I'll have a think. Currently, I'm working with a few Moguls at the mo. I'm trying to get into the Charts for hopefully, One Week, then with the help of the people I've got in touch with, trying to capitalize on the fact that I'm there. If you see what I mean?

Cheers Justin, that's true. Well, I'm all ISRC'd up now. Getting ready for Pre-Order. In the aid of Richard Rashman noticing what I am doing. Hopefully he could become my manager from this. Why not shoot for the stars eh? You never know, there could be a huge thread on me here. That would be good.

How are these obtainable? Like, I know how I can just look on a CD I have bought. But I how do a get one of these myself? I own ISRC Codes for Downloads, but how can I get my own Barcoded Tracks? Thanks.

You know, I actually hope McFLY do get Number 1. - Coming off Island onto there own Record Label? It's a risk, but supposedly HMV Computers have crashed, and 3,000 sales have been lost within the Top 3 or something. It's going to be close.

How do you get airplay? Do Radio station just find you and play you? Or do you have to chart at all? - (Within Top200) Do you get Royalties for them playing your song too?

When releasing a song into the charts. How long can you pre-order for? Because if I buy a song on pre-order that still counts as a sale when released. So what is the maximum time your allowed to Pre-Order a song for? Better? Thanks. :wacko:

When pre-ordering - What is the maximum time you are allowed when doing this? 2 Weeks? Surely you can't pre-order forever? Because single sales still count? And you don't have to download the track when you do pre-order it? Thanks.
