  5. Mansfield Town are the first of the two teams in the play-off final for this division. A shame for Northampton Town who came so close to automatic promotion to lose out like this. Port Vale Vs Swindon tomorrow.

Mark Bowen has returned as head of football operations. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61472471
  9. Very understandable from Forest Green's point of view. I was thinking that this could backfire on Watford. They have a manager who has been successful at League Two, not tested at League One let alone the Championship. For Edwards, there is also the swift turnaround in managers that Watford have had under the ownership of the Pozzo family.

  11. Just a note of explanation here, I mentioned elsewhere about where to place managerial changes that take place in between the football season. I have created this thread to note any changes during this period. First topic would be Rob Edwards who has left Forest Green Rovers (League Two champions, in League One next season) to take over at Watford (who will be in the Championship) from 2022-2023. Articles below: - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61405925 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61413324 Mark Kennedy named as Lincoln (League One) boss to succeed Michael Appleton. Previously assistant at Birmingham City. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61426440 Fleetwood Town (League One) have named Scott Brown as their head coach. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61426971

There is still one automatic promotion spot up for grabs as well as the play-off positions. Also who will be crowned League Two champions? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/league-two/table I wouldn't like to call that. My head is spinning at the thought of it.

  20. ^ I was hoping that the race for the second automatic spot would go to the final game. Great news for Bournemouth also with the news about David Brooks being cancer free. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/61311759 This just leaves the final 2 promotion play off places to be decided this weekend.
  21. If it turns out to be a Sunderland Vs Wycombe final, a friend of mine might have to sit in between the two sets of supporters. He supports both sides as he lived near them both at different times.

^ I agree about Lampard. Another reason that could be against him is that he has not had the struggle at the wrong end of the table in management in my memory until this opportunity came up. Derby County (play-off hopeful), Chelsea at the top end of the table).
