Hope this election clears the murky waters we are now in and that B word is soon consigned to history.... Hope all are well, my grandfather's funeral is next week. Good. I went swimming this morning. Did 5 lengths, so not bad for the first time in a while. Back next week, I will build up my level so I do it everyday I am off. Don't want to overdo it so soon.

He was 90 and very frail, so it was expected. I contacted him regularly for years, I admired him for his determination to cling to life and his independence. I will never forget him. He was the family member who nurtured my love of historical architecture
