    Congratulations Jack. :cheer:
  2. I am getting fed up of Brexit as well, it has been (I find this hard to believe) 3 years since the referendum. I would have thought the politicians would have implemented the result by now despite the narrow margin of victory/defeat depending on your viewpoint.
  3. Yes, I am in the UK. My flag usually changes each month as I "travel the world" that way.... Caught up on this thread, I see what you mean about Biggie and the phone bill.
  4. Yes, very much so. It was 38 degrees outside yesterday, I am glad I stayed at home.

  6. This has been a shambles, I have been following this story on the news and it is a sad time for all concerned. I too hope Bury can rise again as a phoenix club. Hope we're not doing this in a fortnight's time for Bolton.
  7. As expected the air conditioning needed constant resetting. It is meant to be getting serviced in September...
  8. Last time it warmed up, the air conditioning at work decided to throw the toys out of the pram.... Hope it doesn't happen this time...

  11. That is indeed worrying. Hope they find her safe and well.
  12. Hope we managed to stay safe during the windy and wet weather this weekend.
  13. Haven't had a McD's in a few years. Back to work today, off to bed soon. Night.

  15. Carlisle United have won their opening league fixture for the first time in 10 years...
  16. Been busy with work, extra hours are on the agenda and open churches during the summer season. Trying to fit in a visit to the city to see my brother next week as well...
  17. Been a busy time here. Hope all well and happy with the decisive weather...
  18. Oh, yes. The ravens were in the grounds.
  19. I didn't see the Crown Jewels, the queue to see those was far too long and my feet weren't up to that. I saw the White Tower, the place where Henry VI is supposed to have died and the other two chapels and the Royal residence that Edward I had built. Also went on a Beefeater tour.
  20. I would love to see him suffer a Paxman grilling at this juncture... :heehee: I went to the Tower of London yesterday on a day excursion on coach. My head is still intact, I think...
  21. I was up in the North west of Norfolk, 16 churches over 3 days. Some absolute gems, loved it. Hope all are well. Hope you enjoyed Brighton and remembered the sun protection Laura.
  22. I am not doing everywhere. Just Norfolk and Suffolk in terms of churches. Cromer is a seaside town in North Norfolk.
  23. Music does indeed move you. I always get emotional listening to Ave Maria. Glad you had a good time. I am staying in northwest Norfolk for a few days soon to see some more churches.
  24. I'll tell you what you want, what you really really want.... Have a great time.
  25. I saw a bit of a match of theirs a few weeks ago and I am certainly hoping to catch some more games as and when I can.
