16 weeks for Diplo was ridiculous. I like it but it only got to #30! Think the rest were #1s, no?

Don't think Radio 1 would skip an official Sabby C single. But yes it's very ambiguous these days. In any case, nothing 'feels' like a single unless I hear it on the radio many times!

I know my opinion is of no consequence at all but I have come to the conclusion that Geese are bloody awful. Maybe it's his voice, I don't know but I'm thinking they may be one of the worst "indie" bands daytime Radio 1 have ever got behind. I find them completely unlistenable. It's depressing to think about the older guitar bands they binned off (Vaccines, Two Door Cinema Club, Muse etc) to make way for stuff like this! On the plus side, generally happy with the adds this week but wondering how on earth Mumford still get on. Surely they should be Radio 2-only by now!

Yep, I go by this! And I go back 30 days as that gives me the most sensible results. If I only went back 7 days the chart runs would be ridiculous. Songs would go 1-OUT-3-20-9-OUT-9 etc. Tried 14 and 21 too but they didn't quite work for me! Just wanna say thank you to everyone who made this happen. As I said before, I Should Be So Lucky is one of the first megahits I remember and Kylie is one of two acts from that time who have stayed around and not had a huge drop in quality since, the other being the Pet Shop Boys, but I don't think they're getting another Christmas #1 somehow. And the only reason almost all her singles from the past 15 years haven't been all over that station with a '1' in its name is her age. Music's Too Sad Without You sounded a bit old admittedly. I thought Padam Padam getting to #8 was magnificent, but THIS? Would you have even dreamed of it two months ago? WHAT A DAY!
