HiyaLuv!

I miss the old Disclosure, nothing from these last two EPs has really grabbed me. Wish the poppier chart-smashing version could come back. I'm full of compliments tonight!

This has re-entered my playlist several times as it keeps threatening to do something but I always struggle to remember what it goes like. Far from MK's best.

Very much looking forward to this but would also like to echo the "where the feck's Overtime?" comments.

Bad Decisions seems a bit basic/generic to me, I wanted to like it and that's a nice riff but not sure if my appetite for a song like that is that big in 2020. And I really liked the two 2010s records. Acts that have been around that long have to pull something special out of the bag to win me over, and this just sounds like a veteran band going through the motions. Plus, it's too long.

I might tune out of daytime for a few weeks as this playlist is looking very stale currently. Aren't there normally about 8-10 adds?

Four adds? That's pitiful! Unreasonably low and there are tonnes of things they could have included. Take it we're not getting Gorillaz. 6 Music have no problem with it despite Slowthai's recent antics.

Say So is wonderful and Boss Bitch is essentially her answer to Anna Wintour albeit not as banging.

This is okay but I was hoping for a goosebump moment that never came. Will be sticking with Everything I Wanted for my Alternative Now 105!

I always add Shift K3Y songs to my new music playlist in the hope that one of them will be as good as Touch. They never are.

I could only hum you one other Slipknot song (that'll be Wait and Bleed from a thousand years ago) at gunpoint but this is pretty exhilerating! Sorry if there's already a thread on it, I couldn't see one. Wasn't this Track of the Weekend on Radio 1 last week? It's great!

This is a whole lot better than the piddly mid-tempo tropical "house" that dominated the charts a few years ago. I think it's pretty banging! Don't really get the hate. Glad it's doing so well!

He has (half?) jokingly promised another load of Bruce Springsteen rip-offs for his next record and that's absolutely fine by me!

I wanted to like this but found it a bit bland.

Great to see Liberty Belle here and not just left to nighttime/6 Music, even though I initially thought it was awful. Bye Time Machine - they really don't let veterans on the A-list very often. Interesting to see former R1 DJ Friction here too!

He is probably very lucky that Katherine Ryan didn't take it further and seemed relaxed about it. Gorillaz and Slaves have done nothing wrong though, why should they miss out on daytime R1 airplay?

I'm biased because I want to see a perfectly suitable Gorillaz song on daytime Radio 1 in 2020 (I'm not trying to impose my 37-year-old music taste on young people but I love new tunes and this is the best radio source for them) and I know I've got my male privilage too but it doesn't seem like we should be completely throwing him and his career under the bus to die. I am fully prepared for people to disagree with me.

My friend played this to me then I heard it during one of my Sat teatime MistaJam runs. My mate's always ahead of the dance curve! Can't wait to see where it gets in the charts, said the most blindly optimistic person ever.

I heard this on Danny Howard last week and it really stood out. To be honest, I do enjoy Tong and Howards's shows but there's a lot of instrumental tracks that just seem to blend into each other and you can just lay back and soak up the general vibe without really thinking "I must add this one to my playlist!" but this one really grabbed my attention.

Apologies if there's already a thread for this but I've given up Facebook because most people here are actually on my wavelength and not banging on about age-old indie. I've heard this on R1 Dance Anthems etc during my recent Couch to 5k runs on multiple occasions. Let me know how you feel about it! kfHutj2jU5I
