Take it there's no sign of Mr Blobby in the Top 100 despite so many of us marking its landmark 32nd birthday by streaming it to death now we finally can. Oooh, blobby. Might take Amazon up on the offer of the 99p Kylie download and add it to Spotify as a local file. Still haven't heard it!

It's amazing she hasn't had a Xmas #1 already really. For a moment I thought Especially For You was but then I remembered it was Mistletoe and Wine, which I remember being played in assembly every morning in the week leading up to Christmas back in 1988 and first introduced me to the very concept of a Christmas #1. Then EFY was a new year #1. Either way, can totally see the nation getting fully behind this if the publicity is there. Definitely the coolest 57-year-old ever whatever the outcome!

Just been on YouTube and the video's being held back there which would support this theory! Really hope it works if they're being strategic about the rollout, a Kylie Xmas #1 would be brilliant and we need something fresh and different this year, would be so underwhelming if it was Last Christmas again or The Fate of Ophelia which came out ages ago now. Definitely feels like a campaign the media would get behind! Now watch LadBaby come out of the woodwork with an unannounced last minute comeback to spoil it all.

Three Kylie playlist appearances in 2.5 years! Not bad for someone who was last regularly playlisted 15 years ago. Most of her R2 stuff would sound fine on R1 really.

Third time in 2.5 years! They should just accept she's still relevant and have her back full-time! Definitely must be one of the most played R1 Anthems acts.

BLOBBY! Whoever wrote these lyrics was a ridiculous person, a genius or both. Despite the limitations of his poor co-ordination, he's sure to show the world a thing or two. There wasn't much like it before and there hasn't much been since...although with the tempo/rhythm changes maybe you could say it paved the way for Biology 12 years later, if you were making one of the boldest claims in pop history. I find that B-list songs rarely get aired again too, it's like they never existed. It's good they're still letting BC on though! Even if it's probably Big Weekend-related.

Was probably time for Dracula to go. Decent enough song but far from his best, I heard it four times on Wednesday but that was my fault for listening to BBC Radio 1 all day.
