I don't see how that would happen at all - a different leader might help slightly. But the person would probably be Jenrick - who is just as awful, if not worse than Badenoch. I guess some misogynists and racists might come back to the Tories as its a white man leading them... But they literally have zero policies and are a shambles. They can't go more right as Reform are there and Farage is (f*** knows why) loved by the far right. Even the internal Reform squabbling isn't really changing anything. After the 10+ years of the Tories being in power and then changing leaders so often, another leader change is likely to make them an even bigger laughing stock. Thankfully Reform and the Tories aren't going to get a crack of power for at least another 4 years. I guess a lot can happen in that time - how many leaders did the Tories get through in that time :D

Watched this all in one go last night and thought it was so well done. Giving so many different perspectives too and seeing the impact of what happened. The way it was shot too was amazing - episode 3, which was basically a 2 hander was amazingly played and such a stand-out.

CC only axed 5 IIRC - but then i'm sure he must've had Peter returning in the works after being initially axed... Given how long the Knight storyline/ Cindy's return must've been in the pipeline. I mean Ian returned at Dot's funeral - so presumably was in the works from then. Dana, Jaida, Peter, Lola and Stuart? Bernie would be a fairly easy character to just axe - she has nowhere to go and is probably one of the few characters in a dead-end with nowhere really to go. But I guess it depends what BW has in store - he may have big plans for the usual characters who inhabit axe lists. A big year for Howie?

Its a shame, but I guess not really a shock. He hasn't had a storyline since he arrived. I'd happily lose Bernie though, the fact she's still there, working in the place her brother was buried and for one of the people who put him there is bizarre.

Yeah probably - she just needs the right feature again. Interest just seemed to die in her after Disconnect. I'm guessing TG will be more an albums artist and trouble the top 40 whenever he does a feature

Yeah I thought it was fairly strong too; his best from this era. You're right though, a bit like Becky Hill, it feels like things have moved on with regards Tom Grennan.

Yeah there's got to be more to things than it just being AI - either he's lying/ hasn't changed or its going to go down a dark AI path. Given there's so much going on about how AI is bad etc, it would be a bit left-field if EE did a positive AI storyline. Some good scenes between Tommy and Lily though in the week. They're 2 great young actors; put the likes of Avani, Denzel and Nugget to shame really. Overall though a bit of an uneven week - the highlight of yesterday's ep being Bianca being sick in a Tuba :D
