The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Live Show Three
Kerry's version is available via the single release, in a slightly shorter radio edit version! However, the original 2000 album with Kerry isn't on Spotify. The 2001 Jenny version is: Confusingly, it doesn't use the correct artwork. It's using the single artwork, when it really should be using this: Their label has never bothered fixing this. It's been years!

Mel B shocks - tour: "it's not happening" & documentary: "not everybody wants to be honest"
Gosh, this does feel very final, coming from Mel B. I'm gutted! ☹️ I honestly think the Spice Girls have never felt more done with than they do now. For sure Mel B's been the group's biggest cheerleader over the years, but maybe it's no surprise that even she would eventually reach her limits on this matter. I mean, it has been 7 years since the last tour and they just can't get their act together, for whatever reasons. Sadly none of them are getting any younger. They're definitely reaching a "now or never" point, and it seems like "never" is winning. It seems that turning 50 has made Mel B reconcile with the fact that all those younger years that she could have been performing with the Spice Girls, are now gone... and that the moment has passed. Yikes! It's a huge shame, but I understand/respect how she feels now. Who knows, maybe Mel B going cold on a reunion and no longer trying to rally up the others to do it, will have the psychological effect of making the others miss being asked about it lol, and that maybe they do in fact want to do it. Wow, I'm clutching at straws here. xx I know we're speculating but it does seem from the outside that Geri and Mel B's relationship is entirely non-existent at this point, and that neither will budge when it comes to trying to find common ground with each other, at this stage in their lives. Maybe the other 3 have been willing to take the Geri of recent years on face value, but maybe Mel B just sees it as a facade and is frustrated with who she is now/can't accept it. Mel's comment about the documentary and "not everybody wants to be honest" is very direct. I feel that could apply to more than one of them tbh.

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Live Show Two: The Ballads of a Broken-Hearted BuzzJack
I wasn't anticipating a general shrug response to HEAVEN. Each to their own, of course, but I am disappointed in the reception and for the person who chose it!

Emma Bunton - 'A Girl Like Me'
It'll definitely be over 300,000, it was on 295k in January 2021! I'd estimate it to be around 335,000 by now. Still pretty slow progress in regards to going gold though. 😔

Olivia Rodrigo - you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love
Omg! Excited for this - will be interesting to see where her sound is at now, 3 years on from GUTS. This vinyl variant could be my favourite:

Emma Bunton - 'A Girl Like Me'
It was an unusual chart run! I'd say from the sales it managed, it was kind of lucky that there wasn't any bigger competition during its first two weeks at #1. At another time of the year perhaps this would have been more of a 2-4-8 type of hit, than a 1-1-8? 76,317 - #1 [08/04/2001] 64,818 - #1 [15/04/2001] 31,000 - #8 [22/04/2001]

Hopefully all of this will secure a Top 10!

HEAVEN is stunning, one of my all-time favourite Troye songs. I'm very glad that it has been selected for this round. Piece by Piece... I'm going to predict this will come first. From time to time I watch the American Idol performance of it and it makes me cry every time! Ooh Conan going with an 80s-esque power ballad moment! I wonder if Atomic Kitten will aim high or shoot low in the results? Ahh that's a wonderful choice for Delta, and I can imagine it was hard to narrow down as she's got an extensive list of fantastic ballads. Looks like a strong list overall, I'm looking forward to getting stuck in x- petal. • 8th Album
