Wouldn't it be funny if Kesha outsold Leona next week - especially as it would wipe the smug smile off Cowell's face... :w00t:
Haha! Though I'm afraid I love Leona Lewis and want her at #1 :P Though I'd gladly see Ke$ha out-do the X Factor charity single. (How charitable of me!)
Could Ke$ha come out from nowhere and beat JLS to #1 come Sunday, now that would put the cat among the pigeons. I wouldn't have seen it coming at all this week.I'd imagine that would be a beyond tall order :P

Well I'm not sure if it has been certified, perhaps it has - it's only based on the amount of albums shipped to stores anyway. From my understanding, if 100k+ albums were shipped to stores for the first week, then it could qualify to be certified as Gold immediately - even if it only actually sold say 30,000 of those albums.
I think MJ's This Is It has a Gold certification already, though its first week sales were not 100k+. I seem to remember All Saints - Studio 1 being certified Gold quite early on too. It didn't even touch 100,000 (I think it's actual sales were about 50,000?) but nonetheless it was certified. Certifications are relatively meaningless accolades, until Platinum level, in my opinion.
I think most artists just makes it up anyway, LOL. The Saturdays have been banging on about having a Platinum album (Chasing Lights) all year, when its actual sales were barely over 200,000. According to ChartsPlus it's still only certified Gold.

Am I the only one who is completely bored of the majority of the people in this thread going on and on and on and on and on about Cheryl Cole and her crap song 3 words can't this discussion be moved to the Girls Aloud forum for everyone to repeat themselves about how great it is instead of clogging up this thread.
Greeat for Laura.
I think this thread has focused more on Pixie Lott than it ever has on 3 Words!
