The Pop Factor: Season 2 • THE FINAL RESULTS
Time will tell! 🤐 I'm very curious about who has sent which artists - I have some ideas who are behind some, but others I really haven't a clue! Will be fun to find out at the end. I'm liking the anonymity aspect this time around. (Well, I know some kept quiet about their identities last time, but I didn't )

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • THE FINAL RESULTS
Regarding the first song choices - an interesting mix of some artists going BIG with their first choice, versus others who are holding back on the big guns, for now. Interesting!

The Life of a Showgirl Survivor: Round 3
If this is regarding this post: "Actually Romantic. There are probably worse songs on the album, but this is one I really can't listen to or humour." I know for a fact that he has listened to the whole album (several times, in fact!).

The Life of a Showgirl Survivor: Round 3
Where though? I've looked through the previous survivor threads and can't find any posts where anyone is saying they're doing this? Has it been said elsewhere?

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • THE FINAL RESULTS
Ooh A1 is unexpected! They have some very enjoyable bops, but I'm unfamiliar with anything they've done in recent years. Glad that a few of my faves are in the males category.

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • THE FINAL RESULTS
Not sure if I've ever knowingly heard a Nik Kershaw song before so that'll be an interesting discovery I'm sure. I'm not a big listener of Erasure but I know the big hits by them!

Such strong choices so far

The Life of a Showgirl Survivor: Round 3
Eldest Daughter I didn't see the tie breaker round to vote in it, but how come it's being assumed that Charli xcx fans came in to fix the vote?

Spice Girls - UK Chart Runs & Sales (Archive)
Thank you! I suppose the Beckham family drama news gave Spice Girls music that little extra boost for the GH to go Top 200.

Noah Kahan - The Great Divide
I'm liking this! A strong return. I didn't even notice while listening to it a couple of times last night that it's 5 minutes long, and songs can feel like they're dragging by that point, yet it wasn't for me.

sombr - I Barely Know Her
One of my favourite albums from last year - such a strong debut The album certified Gold (100,000 sales) in the UK a couple of weeks ago and it hasn't left the Top 40 since its release: 10 11 14 12 16 14 17 13 22 28 29 11 28 27 22 26 24 29 23 20 27 31 33... Sombr performing '12 to 12' and covering Olivia Dean's 'Man I Need' for triple j's like a version:

December 10 - Run My Way
CD / vinyl singles are available from their store, if anyone here would like to own it, but they're not due to ship until 20th Feb https://shop.december10.com/ The first look position of #32 and Monday midweek position of #49 is largely because of CD single sales. They were sold at a pop up event over the weekend! Their streaming and downloads aren't too strong so far. Therefore I doubt it'll stay Top 100 on Friday as things stand. To be fair to them, going Top 100 in the singles charts with their debut in week 1 would be impressive in this day and age, so if they don't do that, I wouldn't immediately write them off. I wonder if Simon's particularly up to date with how the chart works these days, if so he shouldn't anticipate a great chart position straight off the bat.

Forthcoming Spice Girls Documentary
I think the problem (for us) is they likely won't approach a new documentary from the angle of it needing to be different/updated/fresh compared to the 2007/12 versions. Because it probably doesn't need to be for 99.9% of the people who click play on it. I'm pretty certain they'll see this as another opportunity to put out the same old stories (maybe even being lazy enough to use recorded soundbites from years ago), under the assumption that there'll be a whole new audience watching - or simply assuming that people won't strongly recall documentaries that aired approaching 15/20 years ago(!). So, as interesting as these above suggestions are (and what I'd absolutely love to see) I am not going to hold my breath for it. I would be so surprised if they went deeper into specifics that stray too far from "the main beats" of their story. Going over Geri leaving the band, yet not really pinpointing precisely why because their stories are all so mixed up? Undoubtedly. Going deep into any of their personal problems since then? Probably not. Sadly I see them doing the bare minimum and say just enough to hold a general audience's attention. I'd really like to be proved wrong though.

Sweden (Melodifestivalen) · Eurovision Song Contest 2026
Very happy for A*Teens! Fantastic performance. I had a feeling Greczula was going to do really well too... not 100% sold on the song, yet it has something about it. Jacqline was my second favourite, hopefully she does well in Final Qualification.

2027 Tour?
