Interestingly for What I Am it was released on one CD, Cassette and two 12" vinyl! I wonder why it charted that late, was the second vinyl not released until January 2000? Or maybe it was on sale :thinking:

:lol: 🤧 Also with 2-track singles being a thing in 2004 and a maxi single only allowing 3 unique tracks on the track list to the eligible, if she'd done a Double A Side single then we'd have only got one new track :lol: I fear that might have flopped, particularly as a 5th single. I looooove No Sign of Life but I feel like Breathing probably had the edge for being a better commercial choice. Crickets felt like such a left field choice, and I'm not sure it was ultimately the right decision... even if it did attract some attention to the album... but good on her for being daring!

Well technically it did chart as there was still a Top 200 at the time. #125! :cheer: :lol:

An underrated bop tbh. *.* I listened to it earlier for the first time since 2018(!) so it had definitely slipped my mind for a long time, but I really enjoyed hearing it again.

Amazing news! :wub: :heart: :cheeseblock: In 2023 I had estimated that it might take until January 2026 for it to go 2xPlatinum, so it’s fantastic that it’s done it a whole year earlier. The power of their reunion, the tour and to some extent being a part of the Saltburn soundtrack too! It gives me faith that some of the singles we’re waiting on going silver could cross over sooner than originally anticipated. I’m so eager for The Show to get there, and Untouchable.

I watched the first performance on Sunday and I was really impressed! Everything about them feels elevated since the BBC series. Their choreography has become very slick and polished. 'Ariana' is definitely a cool and catchy sounding song - I only watched/listened once, and yet parts of the song are still going around in my head, which is always a good sign! I had also wondered whether the association with SM would extend beyond the TV series. I feared that "Made in Korea" would perhaps be a temporary gimmick, so I'm glad that's proven not to be the case and that SM evidently have a lot of belief in the group. Launching themselves in South Korea is exciting, and hopefully success will be forthcoming there. If they can make it there, perhaps the rest of the world will sit up and pay attention. I'm really rooting for them!

I really like her new hair! :wub: Despite the song leaking days ago, I never got around to hearing it. I may as well wait for tomorrow! :lol: My expectations for chart success (even in Germany where it's getting a specific push) are low, based on what ___∆___ posted. I just hope I like the new version!
