Also, that's the first #8 of the year to manage a second week in the Top 100.

Not Tonight Santa is back at #10 on Girls Aloud's popular list! It replaces The Show. The new remixes of Not Tonight Santa are still going pretty unnoticed: 1,772 streams - Christmas Party Mix / Radio Edit 1,308 streams - Christmas Party Mix A pity this 'Christmas 'Round at Ours' project hasn't amounted to much. I believe it needed some level of push from the girls being together to have created more interest in it.

I'd say it's for the glory of spending even more weeks at #1, and making more money! I don't think the record company or Andrew would decide to rest on their laurels any time soon. Same as Mariah going into promotional overdrive every Christmas without fail.

If she's doing downloads (as in, via her official store) I'd be surprised if they're 59p. Her store downloads are usually 99p.

The other three new Kylie Christmas songs won’t affect how XMAS does. Seems like a decent start! Last Monday’s midweek #1 was 7,253 so almost 12k on Saturday is good (and at least we know at this point that she’s outdoing Sam Fender’s pure sales).

Their bandname is pronounced as "Fi-vee" though, not just five! One of the best albums of this year btw

My prediction for XMAS next week is 29,000 sales and #5 #manifesting

Interesting chart fact from Music Week this week: Cool to see that it's sold that much in the Yoto card format! I am also surprised that it's seemingly sold more than the Queen/Elton John/ABBA Yoto cards.

Useless fact, but she's never released a studio album in a year ending in 6 (1996/2006/2016), and if we take her word for it then it's not happening in 2026 either!

I own a couple of them: I don't like them very much... they require an app on your phone to be able to view the effect anyway. Looking at them spinning around with the naked eyed is just a blur. But labels seem to love creating them. In regards to Christmas, Wham! - Last Christmas had a zoetrope last year, as did Mariah Carey - Merry Christmas album.

Great/surprising news that she's first look #9! Can't see it holding Top 20 by Friday but seems like somewhere in the Top 30 is very doable. Exciting stuff!

Finally finished this new batch of episodes tonight (I didn't want to binge through all 4 too quickly) but Episode 4... wow, what an episode! One of the very best of the entire show I'd say, incredibly cinematic. Goosebumps! Roll on Boxing Day

Wow at the 106,000 week! Thanks for sharing that info Liam Close-ish to Top 5 but at least it was a few thousand in it, unlike the painfully close gap between #10 and #11 for Chemistry. Makes me wonder how much Kylie's album might have sold on the Sunday while Girls Aloud as a new release weren't on the shelves until Monday. Kind of weird how new releases were given a slight disadvantage by having a day less on sale than others. I suppose Sunday sales weren't massive, but I think supermarkets were open so CDs could be bought on that day. Not sure about HMV and other retailers like it.

The album was released 21 years ago today. I remember this era happening like it was yesterday! What a solid run of singles and great success! I wish the album had managed Top 5 just to be a cherry on top of the cake. Unfortunately we don't know how far away it was from achieving that, we only got to know the Top 2 sales above it. Although maybe it would be worse if we knew it was very close lol. The #5 was Kylie - Ultimate Kylie in her second week in the chart.
